It's normal for the party in power to lose seats in midterm elections. the question is how many. As the party of NO we can be sure that if you were take over the congress you wouldnt do anything anyway to address the serious issues of our times. You sat on your hands for 8 years when Rome was burning so why should anything be different in the future?

Health care costs went up tremendously during 8 years of Bush and you said NOTHING. You didnt care then but now suddenly you are all up in arms. What a hypocrite as usual.
You didnt really expect everything to change immediately with the new health care bill did you? If you did you must have been listening only to Fox.
I quess the fact that many millions of more people will now have health care, that up to the age of 26 you can remain on your parents health care policy, that millions of small businesses got tax breaks that pre-existing conditions will finally not be a reason for health care companies to deny you coverage, etc. etc. is not a reason for you to applaud the changes. I mean you do understand that change takes many years or are you one of those people that expects instant satisfaction in everything you do? Thats the real disease of this country right now and why we are lagging behind the world in so many important areas

But do have a nice day.
    Go Sirius!

And the more that they try to pass them will mean the bigger the gains in Nov. for republicans. Also just some logic and common sense you twit they can only get most of that crap by by going reconcilation WHICH IS BUDGET ITEMS. Those same items can be reppealed the same way they got through in the first place. Humm dhaa, I know you would like to think welfare reform was a Clinton idea, the fact is he vetoed it the first 2 times it came to his desk. Haaaa but 3 times is a charm.

Be careful John with what you say about cash for clunkers cause i got some quotes where you were trying to hedge your bets. Remember?

Ask car dealers what they think of cash for clunkers and i will bet you the overwhelming majority of them think it was an amaziing lifeline when they were about to go under.

Climate Change "MOST scientists say the math isnt there"
That is simply an outright lie. Never stopped you before.

Did you read the quote i showed you that even a very prominent weatherman and climate change denier had to admit that this was the HOTTEST winter on record. Not some far out liberal but a climate denier.

HOPELESS but have a nice day.

    Just for starters.
John statement. " Hybrids will never be economically or techologically viable"

If anyone in their right minds believes that i have some really great swamp land in Florida i would like to sell you.

Lets make a pact to come back here in 20 years and look back on every major argument John put forward and have a real good laugh.

P.S. still waiting for him to tell me when hydrogen cars will be 1% of sales.
Hint: There is a reason he wont answer. Guess what it is.

I have already crushed you on that I already told you that hydrogen cars are only 5 to 7 years behind hybrids and hydrogen cars are an end solution your hybrids are a stop gap at best and they dont even get that far because by the time they become economically viable (I already told you (almost 2 years ago) the samething the car companies have said, "WE JUST DONT HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY RIGHT NOW IT WONT BE AVAIBLE FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS" (yes that was when they were telling congress if they keep making them go even further on MPG standards it will put them out of bussiness (well we dont need a crystal ball anymore to see how that turmed out, do we)) hybrids hydrogen cars well be only five to 7 years at most behind, the math is on my side not yours.

Looks like we are going to pass financial reform without reconciliation. I am very hopeful they will pass other reforms (energy, immigration, etc) without reconcilliation as well. That is if some Republicans decide that being the party of NO is not something they wish to be remembered for in history.
And then we will watch and see how big the gains the Republicans get in the midterm elections and what they can do with them. I am feeling quite good about the agenda and what we are accomplishing. I seem to remember Bush/Cheney had control of both houses of Congress and still did nothing to solve health care, energy, social security and medicare, finanical mess, and yet raised the deficit and brought us the 2nd worst recession in our history.
Now that is something to be real proud of. LMFAO.

You were part of the Bush/Cheney economic team now werent you?

" i have already CRUSHED you". Can you please give me some of the drugs you are on.

You are forgetting an important quote of yours John. For someone who claims to be careful about the facts you are looking mighty deceitful. if i didnt know better i would think you were trying to
SQUIRM out of something you said before. So here is that quote to help to jog your memory a little bit.
"I WILL ALSO SAY SOMETHING THAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING IN PM'S TO PEOPLE. THAT I DONT THINK THEY EVER WILL BE (viable)."

SHALL I REPEAT IT SO YOU CAN REMEMBER? "I DONT THINK THEY EVER WILL BE" ECONOMICALLY AND TECHNOLOGICALLY VIABLE. You are talking about hybrid cars not ever being economically or technologicaly viable. These are the cars that all automobile companies are investing in and banking on for the future. Pardon me for getting down in the dirt with you, but you really are a goddamned dumbass twit.

John you are so far off the mark its getting ridiculous. Every new technology gets help (been reading about nuclear lately?). Stop with the false tax credit arguments EVERY form of energy in this country have gotten tax credits and more. The oil, gas, coal industries would not be anywhere where they are in terms of cost per kw. without enormous help and advantages. You never complained about their help. i know you are opposed to the changes
coming but just relax cause its going to be very exciting. Dont you worry.

    Let me get this straight.
So if hydrogen cars are only 5 to 7 years behind hybrids right now and since hybrids are about 3% of the cars on the road right now in this country, are you are saying that Hydrogen cars will only be 3% behind hybrids in 5, 10, 20 years from now?
i hope you dont believe that cause you are goinig to look like a mighty fool.

BUT YOU STILL DONT HAVE THE COURAGE TO ANSWER MY BASIC QUESTION THAT I HAVE BEEN ASKING YOU FOR MONTHS. HERE IT IS AGAIN FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME.

WHEN WILL PURE (not a mix of hydrogen and electric) HYDROGEN CARS BE !% OF THE AUTOMOBILES SOLD IN THE US? JUST PUT A YEAR OR YEARS TO IT PLEASE. THAT IS IF YOU HAVE ANY INTELLECTUAL
    INTEGRITY.

I have seen dealers and many complained that they were not getting paid like they were supposed that the amount of money they laid out and could not get paid for could put them out of business even faster if the government did not get on the ball and pay them like they said they would. Many also complained that if even one typo of just one letter would get the claim denied which pushed the payment process back for months longer.

Only in your own mind havasucker. Those figures come right from the UN. All the scientist know this to be a fact. When questioned on it they say well the sooner we start the sooner we will get the problem resolved.

Did you read the links I gave you where the head UN Global warming scientist went from, "In the next 10 to 20 years the earth will stay the same or get a little cooler", TO "In the next 20 to 30 years the earth will get a little cooler", AND NOW, "We could be in for what I would call a "mini ice age"". Yes thats right but lets not get it confused with the "little ice age". I dont know about you folks but I think the words "mini" and "little" lose there meaning next to the words "ice age". LMAO

So I just have to ask you how many times do these crackers have to get it wrong before you stop believing in them. Now I am LMFAO.

    I

I got news for you asking someone to just shut up and vote for the bill is not what is ment by bipartisan. You actually have to have some of the othersides ideas in the bill to get them to vote for it.

Hey I know Bush was passed a recession form Clinton and he handled it by it being the shortest, shallowest recession in history. Now how is Obama handling his recession again?

P.S. Dont blame Bush the economy was going great before the democrats took control of congress in 2006. I think if you look at history that is when things started to tank.
