    gain 1.72414%

    exit amount $35589.4

nice gain, but at scottrade, the commissions ate it.

The irony is that it would appear that I bought & sold a lot of MM's shares...

    I'm queazy.

    ***

And THIS is exactly why I made the June purchase using Scott rather than TDA or Etrade, where the pre-shareholder rights positions are!!!

sh*t happens...fortunately for me, I am well aware that I am human and not exactly a pro at this stuff.

hence, the safeguard of keeping certain shares separate.

    ***

Oh, and the kicker...I just got a call from my wife -- "So, you just sold a sh*tload of Sirius @ .59, eh? What's going on?"

Me: "going to Aruba, hon..." Okay, I didn't really say *that*.

    Yeah, effing Scottrade!

That's what I meant by doing the calculations to see how stupid I am...

Frankly, I'm not really sweating the tax hit -- which has been figured into our tax liabilities already.

I just really don't like the fact that I didn't research the commission structure at Scottrade more before buying through them the first time.

I don't regret it -- regrets are not my forte. I really wish that I hadn't done it, though

Now, it would appear that Scottrade is going to get another chunk on the next pop...

___ which really puts me in an unsavory position -- being that we are now approximately a month out from the CC -- The point is, I'll have a rather difficult decision to make regarding moving the cash to another broker and dealing risking the delay or accepting the vig from scottrade.

    I'm rambling...

Think I'll go hit the sauna...

I remember once when I had a stock just plummeting, I was in such a hurry I bought shares on accident, therefore doubling my folly, lol. Hmm.. maybe again, not an LOL, that kinda sucked too.

Bill, where do you see the profit on this one.

If you get 3 shares for the 2 you have, isn't that dilluting the share price by 33%?

This stock has been in the 3 to 4 cent range until just a few days ago. With the split, it should be worth less than that, shouldn't it?

I hear ya -- I'm sure that we all have our stories.

It's nice to be here, ya know, where folks are comfortable enough to relate the horror stories - as well as the success stories.

Frankly, while it's embarrassing that I screwed up -- I'm glad to relate the story. In my mind, maybe my little nightmare will give pause to others that are here to really look at what they're doing.

Most importantly -- double check your orders!

Like Chuck says -- I got lucky. It coulda been a whole lot worse! It wasn't so long ago that I read about a couple of cats that sold, only to be chasing SIRI & losing several thousand $$$.

    Lesson learned.

Well, if you rebought the shares already, it wouldn't make sense to resell them with some $300 in commissions or whatever to transfer them to a broker so you can get a lower commission on the following sale 5 years from now, unless of course you do it if this thing doesn't hold those support lines, and can get in a few cents cheaper later.

The profit is in the stock price coming back up and the product, which is Christian gaming software. True it is dilution, but dilution in the favor of the stockholder instead of the company.

I would get the extra shares and flip it. There is risk....don't kid one's self.

    Hey, thanks for asking.

The ride was great. 4 days of between 90 and 110 miles a day. About 8 hours in the seat each day. It was beautiful. I spent a lot of time on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just completely lovely up there. Then lots of time on gravel roads down in the valleys.

I'm no little guy ( or young guy for that matter), 200 pounds of me and a fully loaded bike make for a nice workout. I'd ride for an hour or two and enjoy the view from someplace special for an hour before I hit it again. I even rode about 40 miles under moonlight one night. Just fantastic!!!!

I'll be heading out to Southern Ohio in a few weeks and do it again during the intense fall color foilage season. Got to get as much of these long rides in as I can before the cold air gets here. If it weren't for this working stuff, I'd be on the bike a lot more!
