Good thinking....I honestly don't know what EVFL is "really" up to.

    Scottrade is just nuts...LOL

Yesterday for the fun of it I put in a buy order for EVFL and it went through. Today I tried to do it again and it won't go through because of trading restrictions....Somedays it does, somedays it doesn't.

It's starting to look like the Dewey Decimal System. Yes, it is getting longer by the day. EVFL is right in the middle of it.

I just tried for 4 million evfl and it told me to call my representative. Usually, they will let you buy if you call them. It is at online prices if you do, but then sometimes they will just tell you, "No".

To be honest about this. It really helps to have a margin account set up. That way you don't have to wait for trades to clear...at least not with Scottrade. So, you can buy in and out of the market several times a day.

If you buy in 1400 share increments. All you need is a 8 cent swing in price and you net a cool hundred bucks with each trade. Most big board stocks will swing that much on any given day. So, there are thousands of opportunities to do this each day.
C man, I have a scottrade cash account and have been thinking more along the line of quick hits here lately, especially to make up for the 2400.00 loss on mglg. IS there a downside to a margin account or are there any minimum caveats you must start with or maintain?

More along the lines, I was saying 1300 levels only if we break out to new highs... when that will be, I don't know, but it seems to be pushing there. Let me get the spot high... hang on... 1032.58, need to break that.

One of the guys I follow had a case for a cyclical pattern that has a little pullback currently, then the possibility to break in the middle of Oct. But, who knows if it'll actually break, just looking to be ready.

Seems to be capped at the 1000 level pretty well. Anyway, it keeps bumping that level, and at some point the stock market has to take a little breather. If it's bumping up around then, maybe it'll break. Previously there was just the inverted head and shoulders, but now we have multiple patterns, the more the merrier I say, cause if you have more than one, and there is a break, it has a better chance of working out, cause you get multiple sets of pattern players working the same instruments.

I'm just looking to have a minor (like 30% position (again like you, I don't make massive trades)) in now, as long as it keeps near the top range in one of these stocks, but more than willing to get stopped out. Once it breaks, if I can catch it, I'll bump it up more. Then look for a 1000 level retest, then add the final chunk in. Provided my life isn't too crazy at the time... I will be in full blown grant mode.

Here is another nice swing trader that I work with a lot.

WEN for Wendy's / Arby's group. It trades on the NYSE for around the 5 dollar area. It usually moves 5 to 12 cents a day. Today it's down 30 cents. It may be a good buy for a couple day buy and hold swing trade.

Yes, the downside is that you need to have 25K in the account. And I know that's hard to do. It took me years to get there.

But, as long as you don't use Scottrades money and you only use the margin account for trading with your own money, I can't see any downside. The trades are still just 7 bucks and that is very reasonable as far as I'm concerned.
