I don't watch that channel. But I think the comment about painting cars is hilarious.

I also own the sponges right now. Hopefully it will give a decent run up like Romo is saying so that I can sell it and get back into QASP soon.
I actually didn't even remember that I ws first to mention it until he gave me the shout out on the thread he created for it. Thx Romo.
It makes me feel good to know that I've contributed to our team.
You have made a lot of people a lot of money.

I believe that if gold is making a resurrection, then the worst of my fears could possibly be coming true...and that is the double-dip. Gold is worth keeping a close eye on. It is a real indicator. When people get nervous they buy gold...and with good reason. I welcome any comments on this.
I actually read something the other day from a very experienced trader - kind of a conspiracy theory of sorts - it went along the lines that the gov and the banks (which give out the stock upgrades/downgrades and earnings forecasts, etc) they have control of have given stocks a thumbs up, and try to keep gold under $1000. That way it can appear that the economy is doing better, and to keep a run on gold from happening, as that would put less faith in the economy. Kind of like when you play the chart game, if you buy on the 4 year high (since that's all we can see) - you usually get a decent run. Once gold breaks that level, then who knows where the top will be and cash will pour into it. These guys believe it because they run different large scale trading operations, don't use the same algorithms/patterns, and can't figure out why gold keeps topping near the mark, when the patterns/indicators say otherwise.

Gold broke out pretty hard, enough so, that some think you can still buy in - but what I see happening too is one last pop to let the nasdaq have a perfect 50% retracement, which would give gold a back test, then nasdaq tanks, and gold shoots. I think that if there is some conspiracy, you still won't be able to keep enough of these traders down, as once things get too oversold - I mean come on - GS is relatively close to its old highs, yet, the world/US isn't the same place it was in Aug 2007, and these guys know it.

It was funny to see the 5 days of accumlation in BWNR almost match the breakout in GLD. It may be worth a couple hundred, if you get up early enough.

But yeah, I've been busy, then I had a kharma crunch... lol.. I'll post it later.

Might as well do it now - so I've been pretty stressed, since I have a job interview coming up - well, more like, our lab has been losing funding pretty steady the last 6 or so years, we've dropped in size by about 75%. My boss has a second lab up in the bay area, so he wants me to move there, but I need to go thru the formality of an interview - and pass thru the folks up there. I've worked there a little before, so luckily I know them, and I'm pretty happy go lucky, so I don't grind on their nerves, lol.

Anyway, I noticed I hadn't changed the oil on my truck for a while, and also had to put my tags on by sept 1. I spent so much time in the office lately, I decided to change my oil but left my tools at work. I then needed a jump - cause I got my sirius player finally mounted but left it on while working out. Well... it killed my battery pretty good, I get the jump, then as I'm driving home, I realize I'm out of gas. I don't want to stop, since I have to turn the engine off to pump, but I risk it anyway. It's 3 am, and the only place I find not by home has out of order credit card machines, and they didn't take $100 bills, which I had one, so I only had $4 that I could pay for gas. Then I realize since its 3 am, my tags are expired. Some drunk monster in a wife beater comes out of the bushes, throws a piece of plywood across the station, and stares me down... I'm like great - I don't have my tools to get under the license holder, and this drunk wants to fight. On top of that, the pump is now out of order... finally the guy gets it going, I pump the $4 in gas, and get out of there. But something was up, since there were cops all over (cops don't like me for some reason), so I wound thru back streets and such to get home, only to find no parking, since they are doing construction, so I park way far away.

Next morning, I try to start the truck, and its dead. I then spend the day cleaning the cables, I didn't realize they were so corroded.. but of course, since my tools and such were at work, I also had to pick up some new ones to switch the battery out and clean up the cables - as even if I found a neighbor for a jump, I only had $4 in gas to get to a station, then would possibly need a second jump. I needed a set of wrenches anyway, so no big deal, my rachets wouldn't fit over the nuts... it was pretty hot out. Took all day, the old ladies in the neighborhood kept asking me why I was working on the truck in the street.

Anyway, that wiped me out, so hadn't looked at stocks much - yeah, I do have a lot of tickers, but I don't put in the same amounts as you guys into these pennies - I'm more stacked in PACR and SQNM, so the drops don't kill me too much. Also, those options on my sig are dead ducks, so I don't watch them.

If I get up early, I may chase a gold stock with a partial position, keep a tight stop in case of a little nasdaq rally, or gold pull back, then start fresh on a rebound. Gold should get a good run on a market pullback, and I at least figure to watch out at $1000.

I have to disagree with you just a small bit Bill. I think we all make money together. I know as a fact that my trading acct wouldn't be nearly as green if not for the efforts of all the Crazy Penny Chasers. I suspect most of us feel the same.
