SIRI Weekly Thread for 8-17-09

Underway,These will be used in offices and homes first off,remember there are alot of people who don't drive to work and get poor reception in big cities with their cars and none on current portable radio's out there.
Also SXM doesn't need to spend alot of mopney on radio's for after market cars now and retail as well,this will work great with SXM ready stereo and audio systems too at home..But it means others are coming along with other smart phones apps..I have SXM in my car,but ill get a blackberry phone with app and Skydock for home audio now for under $100 instead of 300 to 500 for SXM receiver for home..and won't have to pay alot for data plan on I-Phones also,as it is a satrad signal not wifi..

P.S.not a game changer per se,but it will add rev to bottom line and lower cost immensely,IMHO.
Especially with 2nd subs for people like me,(squeesing all the rev you can out of existing customers is perfect bussiness sense,when not growing..

Thanks Johnny....but....still not seeing it as a BIG deal. If this skydock, or perhaps another 'new product' (since Mel said several new products coming out) is a small dock/attachment to iPhone for portable satrad reception, that would make sense. But, if this is just a dock in the car or at home, so what? Still don't see it as anything that new. For home, you could always buy a cheap starmate and play thru home stereo, either via FM or direct connect. For the car, same deal. So, a skydock in a car, permitting an iPhone or iTouch or iPod to modulate the satrad signal and play thru the car stereo via FM or direct connect, doesn't seem like much to me, especially for $99. If it were $29 or some kind of 'throw away' money, perhaps it would attact new subs. I truly hope skydock or other new item will be a small footprint, lightweight portable plug in that can turn iPhone to true satrad. That would be awesome.

Who is selling stock today? The last 20cents have been very good for traders. Relmor where is the exit point? I have an itchy trigger finger and have nice gains in under 22hrs....cash out is what my gut tells me but my head says hold until we test .80c? Any thoughts?

Just this month I have changed my strategy on SIRI. Did a lot of swing trading since January but am now long. I bought in big at .53 and am holding long now. Yeah, I could sell today and take a nice profit, but I'm holding..

Still, you're right.. Great opportunity to sell today for short-term gain, especially if you loaded up over the past couple of weeks. Will we test .80? Heck, that could happen very quickly. Listen, we're close to .75 already in pre-market trading on a volume of 6MM.

I believe the shorts are coming out not going in. Once we hit .80 the next resistance is at 1.25 I haven't sold 1 share in over a year. not selling now and glad I bought more earlier this week.

I sold at .58 couple of weeks ago, then bought back at 0.51. Today I sold a small portion at 0.76. Which point should I sell for the next portion?

Good Morning everyone.

I can't keep up with what's going on with our stock, but it sure is wonderful! I'm just going to keep riding and making money. I think this is truly the case of what can happen when I stop paying attention.

.77 looks like the number, where we hit resistance. For all the longs, congrats, now take 10-30% off the table and throw it in the bag! Please don't have adhd, this still a very risky investment, don't kid yourself. Ask yourself, could this stock ever have a .6 or .5 handle ever again, if you say yes, then take some chips off the table. I have been investing since 99 and trust me the house wins a good percentage of the time, right now your the winner! Get up and walk away with something, please. Never be afraid of taking gains, you can't predict the future. This stock has been on a tear since .54 its .77 now in a week! Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered! I still think Cramer is a dope.
