If you hold a stock and you try to sell it on a GTC but a r/s happens first your order wont trigger because your sell is at .0002 and lets say they split it 2 for 1 just to make it easy and had 100 shares you would now have 50 shares worth .0004 so its not the order you have on GTC but the value is the same at that point, and where it goes from their is up to the market...but its much harder to get ahead once that happens and you were upside down on a stock....I hope that helps..........

If it drops again below 1.35...I'll do the same thing again...Just wish this was in my tda acct instead of Etrade. Would have plenty of powder to join in the penny party...Wanted to get into qasp this am at .015...powder keg empty...hopefully will refill by tomorrow am!

If info on BCLE is accurate...could be the catylst to drive it higher!

BEHL- problem is they haven't put out a pr in almost an hour...whats their problem?

MGLG- who the F%%k knows. starting to test my new found patience!
i hope you realize 5000k shares = 5,000,000 shares LOL.. just teasing ya...great trade bro.

dr dave called for the drop in OCNF. he said there will be a good buy in opp and today BAM there it was. im still not programmed in how the shipping stocks are a leading indicator of the economy, but i am learning. im sure dr dave will post on shipping late tonight.

damm i was thinking about getting into citibank , and cramer called out a $6 target. now im having 2nd thoughts, but he could be throwing his viewers a bone on this one. im not sure.

as far as new found patience, i bought into siri last year. dropped almost 100k into it for an avg price of $0.88....i did not trade this , just avg down, but i did ride it through the bk rumor drop to .05 ....that my friend is patience. LOL..

ive got the alert ready for BCLE, hopefully we start to wake up from the slumber. its still a good accumulation period, i added more today, i am watching tomorrow , might add more at .015/.016 as there was strong support there.

it was a very bullish close. i am looking for 2 resistance points to clear and hold, .025 and .035 get by that and .05-.06 is in the picture. yes i like the fundamentals of the PR and the company but , have to play devils advocate and warn you this is still a pinkie so beware!!!. im playing the charts, support , resistance and turning a profit. i am becoming more cautious as i learn more about pinkies, i dont want to get stuck on the losing side of a pump and dump. whether or not this is the real thing, there is potential for big profits here and thats what im after. so gl and be careful!!!

Of course we all know about the BEHL debacle. My take is this. We know it is a strong company with green pastures ahead (sorry about the pun). This momentary pull back is not scaring me. Ok I am tempted to try a flip a bit... but over all I think this will hit much higher numbers EOY. We all have to stay strong and believe.

OCNF .... Are you kidding me. I was surprised at this. OK they had a bad quarter... but wow... I just got them back in the green and BAM!... <sigh> Back to the waiting game. However, this should be a signal to many other people... this is a good time to load up on OCNF. I do not think it will go down much more.

BCLE... one day it will rise from its slumber... and then... "Patience Luke, patience" star wars music plays.

TXMC... what is up with this bipolar stock... this should easily be a penny... oh well... strange week.

IFSL . . I had big belief in this one a couple of weeks ago...but I keep hearing some bad things about it... not sure where I stand... Will have to do some DD tonight and see what I will do with it.

MGLG and EVFL. Ahh my two retirement funds... still sitting on the bottom and waiting for... ? ummm... what were we waiting for.... Oh yeah.. news or numbers or something... it was soooo long ago... Like a distant memory.

I had a chunk of DDR and sold it at 6 thinking I would buy it back when it dipped back to 4.5 or 5. Now look at it... It is on a rocket ship. is pushing for 8 now... Are you kidding me. Come on. I was charting this and did not see this coming. I liked that stock because it pays nice dividends.. But Now it has blown by me....
Let's look at SEA, $BDI, the $SHX and the Transports, and the rest of the shipping stocks - there's actually an elliot wave count going on for the $SHX. Let's look for strength and weakness in the shipping leaders like ISH.

Right now OCNF is bailing from a resistance line - have to watch it develop - currently, the buy opp would be a recent low (for me) or double bottom, until a new pattern emerges - the numbers were real bad.

Need to watch CAT and PACR too, if things are being built, CAT will continue, PACR has to do with ground movement. PACR pulled back today, but had met estimates, and gave ok forward guidance, but it met estimates exactly.

Take into consideration, OCNF has some of the worst fundamentals of the bunch too.

I gave out a list of tickers - if you want to screen tickers of big board stocks against each other (talking fundamentals here) for free, what I do is make a list of stocks in a sector - then put them in its own block over at navellier dot com, and that way I can keep each sector straight. IF you are on a mac and use unix (or linux for that matter), i can give you scripts to import into navellier and stockcharts, so you dont have to remove comma's and such.

I'm glad you made some money on that trade - pretty ballsy! <-- editing later [whoever's post I mixed up who made money on a bounce here todaywas ballsy!]

I haven't looked at the charts yet today... but I had the ticker on the screen. I was playing that bull flag on EXM (chart I posted earlier) and made the grave mistake of not checking their earnings date - I looked at most boat earnings dates, and they were far off, didn't double check, that cost me a penny or too - luckily I cheked the earnings date for FLR, and that cancelled out my loss.

Too many stocks I guess, gotta trim them back.

Will comment on BCLE later too..

always remember, all this stuff is just my opinion, and im not a millionaire.

man, just had a great idea, i'm going to order the shipping stocks in my stockcharts list according to fundamentals - in fact, I should do that to all of them, maybe that will improve the odds of getting some good long positions going.

whoops - read the posts too fast - someone made some cash on OCNF today -

ouch, if you lost on that one,, I feel for you, I got hit big time with EXM myself - and PACR while coming in ok, did drop - usually I don't hold over earnings unless I have the position firmly established and have a huge lead.... PACR kind of hurt, next time, if I'm still riding from my first entry into an earnings report, and I have a lead, I'm gonna cut half instead of all in... too risky.

Also - general market from me just looking at tickers are showing signs of hitting the big numbers and petering out a little. GS really tripped me out today... the best resistance I could find was $170, that was weeks ago, I never thought it would hit it though.... but $170 was the best since it was price resistance and fib, so that's two instead of one... I never thought it would make it. Now, financials are at a key point for a breather.

Like I said, before, I was feeling pretty buy happy lately, and that's always a sign for caution....

yeah, need to adjust - some are gone today... also, some of the ones with dots are option plays that haven't expired yet, but are worthless... jsut trying to keep honest, so they will be there until the third week of december, unless of course the stocks rally.

    SIRI -

what a great finish for a stock that was on the line for estimates...

its on line with the nasdaq and other techy's, but leading compared to amex auto parts and telecomm (i forgot which amex telecomm Iused on the chart), willloook later - those guys are turning down.

anyway... looking good long term, have a long term base on base... can expect a new one to form, so some cutback, but looking ok to me. we are riding some ancient resistance going way way back...

question though, since we all have different demographics - any of you guys actually know people who have SIRI or XM in their cars - like normal people... im a scientist (and the worst kind, postdoc - so that means im still kind of in the zone akin to being an intern/resident so to speak) - that said, its slave labor, none of us have a new new car... so I've only seen them in my friend's truck who own's siri stock, his wife's vehicle, my vehicle cause he bought me one, a friend who made a lot of dough in banking who love's 80s hair metal, and a school teacher who was losing her house due to the interest rate increase and thought she should buy a car before her credit went bad... that's it.

I was getting some washers at a car dealer to change oil, and saw a big banner for siri-xm, and so I shoulda asked how its going.

Anyway, I see the number of iphones just increasing everyday, even some of us poor postdoc folk have them, since we use unix, and thus can control our work with iphones... but, do you see an increase of siri out on the streets? I actually posted over at the hub today - funny, I posted about doing some dd like this and my trials and tribulations of the stock in question... and the pumpers just ignored it. they are still arguing about all these intangible number projections based on reading inbetween the lines wording on cc's. Not one said they saw product X at the stores to assure me my money was ok.
