I've got 5m of evfl right now with a little powder left. What in particular peaked your interest in it?
The reverse play will only be to keep from getting delisted...which might be suspended for a while again...and from what I hear and see the company is now doing everything to get the stock price to a dollar real soon with out the r/s.... but this week is game time after this week their will be a sell off before the final climb to the $1 so you can make a few shares....good luck Tony

Hey Bill, I'm going to try and be more of a contributor on the forum and will be learning how to read charts. Im slowly starting to see what you guys are seeing from the charts that are posted on here, pretty cool stuff.

Hey your boat pics were awesome!!! I spend alot of time on the water and have learned to stay clear of the big boats when there out during an opening, it's a pretty amazing site to see the frenzy of boats with all their gear out scooping up the fish. Tough to navigate in and out of the maze of nets they have out. I stay way clear, wouldn't want to miss with someones livelyhood.

the only thing that I don't like about playing this to pick up additional shares, is the capital gains hit I would take at the end of the year. Do you guys consider the tax ramifications of this strategy? I would think you'd be getting hit by uncle sam everytime you sold at a profit. Do you hold funds back for uncle sam or just play with all of it and let your tax preparer worry about it at the end of the year.

I can only imagine the hit I would take on BEHL, it was only a 500 investment that is now worth 20k. I want to keep it all, but I know if a cashed out, good ole uncle sam is going to want a chunk of it for himself

Did someone say that the ASFX products were at walmart. Believe it or not, I try to do some DD, I usually feel I'm limited to the internet. With AAPL, I've seen what they will do for guys like me, we needed 3D stereo to do our work, and even though there maybe only a couple hundred of us that do what I do, they took it seriously and put in the graphics. With DKAM I went out and found their products, and even bought them and handed them out even though I had quit drinking. Likewise, with SIRI, I listened to them after I did my first trade and bought a lifetime membership to bump up their numbers, after my friend bought me the siri stilletto for helping him double his # of shares. So, I went to walmart, and didn't see any of those thermometers. I'm much more comfortable being longer term when I can see and buy the stuff and hand it out. Any of you guys seen the thermometers - or did I imagine they were supposed to be at walmart?

I think I need some food.
Hey Dave, don't get run down now...get some sleep. Did you try Walgreen's?

I think that was one of the places that carry them. I could be wrong...just running off of memory. Maybe I will give them a phone call tomorrow if I remember. I have a couple of hours of work left tomorrow and then I can give it a shot.

I am really diggin' (Calif. surfer talk) the way Tony has this all figured out so well. He has been in SIRI for a long time and knows it inside-out and backwards. He is also very protective of it...so he is a good person to listen to. Nobody is right all of the time with stocks, but he has a good handle on it. Unlike many people here, I got out a long time ago. If it hits .20 again, then I will buy, lol. I just don't have the patience for it. That is why I wandered off and started buying other things. Ray, Tony and Bills "Big Adventure".

I always thought that Ray was a little kooky (just kidding), buying the dog over and over again, but it just goes to show that Mr. BEHL knows what the hell he is doing. Tony does too.

Nobody is right all of the time though. I know that I sure have made some mistakes while thinking I was the "Wiser".

Live, learn and earn...that is what it is all about. The more information and DD, the better things turn out for everybody....A lot of the time.

Good discussion contributes a whole bunch to the success of most everyone involved. I have made it a practice to stay away from group decisions though, as they just are not my style.

Anyway, we are off to another week and I am loving it. I am looking at QASP.

More people lose most of their gains worring about capital gains.....they wait to long to sell....take the profits and pay the taxes its all part of the game....of course you should have some deductions that will help some...

Thanks Julie, it's all about family for me. Yeah it's tough to get them big ones in a frying pan to fit, but we manage somehow, I've got alot of mouths to feed as you've seen! I've enjoyed reading your posts on the other thread, boy they mess with you alot over there huh? It's all in good fun. Kind of like Sean on this side!

Btw, I'm sending out smoked/jarred salmon to those that are interested, send me a pm with your address, I'll get some out to you!

I know what the ramifications are and I do my own taxes. I also play different strategies timewise for different stocks - you have to decide that up front. For me, some are longer term, some aren't. But, if I'm going longer term, and everything about the stock is turning bad, I'm not going to hold it so I can shave a difference in taxes. If you intended to be very long term on BEHL or SIRI, then do so, its pretty dangerous (this has nothing to do with taxes) to decide to start swing trading or day trading stocks that you hold if you don't know the strategies. Currently (and of course this changes day to day) there isn't anything on the radar that I see TA wise to tell me that trouble is brewing for SIRI. BEHL is a penny, so I can't really comment too much on it. SIRI may be in the penny range, but its correlated to the rest of big board market. Also, if you do cash in, then depending on how much you do earn, it may be a good idea to pay estimated taxes. I've paid them before, you can go online, and its a 1 or 2 page .pdf form you fill out. At some point, unless you are planning on holding these forever, in which case 2 things will happen - you will hit the high only one time, cause thats true for every stock, and you won't ever use your money, you will have to pay taxes at some point. Anyway, if you decide short term trading is something you want to add - then you definately have to consider the loss you have due to taxes to make sure that the amount of money you will make from the trade is worth it. Like with my buddy, he wanted to double his shares - that was worth it tax wise cause we were able to do it in one swoop over a few days. Short term trading that will only bring you a 20% gain in shares/$$$ is not worth it, especially if you are wrong and mess it all up, and make a 10% gain, or 5% gain, etc.
