Hey there Los , looks like you got your hands on a great collectors item. Sounds like you guys followed the same bands I did back in the day. You ( and Bill or anyone else here interested with a favorite guitar ) need to send me some detailed pics of your V. By the time I actually get it made "SIRI" might be at 3.00 a share. Ha , well maybe not that long but I usually work on guitars in between other projects I do. I can't stay working on one thing to long or I get burned out so usually have several things going at once.I would rather make a replica for someone who would truly appreciate a replica of their favorite axe than to try to make them to sell . I have only found one other sight where someone else makes replicas and he gets $200.00 a pop for his which I believe is a bit pricey considering you can buy replicas stamped out over in china for about 30 bucks but I do understand because of the time involved.I generally end up giving away most of the things I make for people and sort of do it like " a labor of love " haha. I do woodworking for relaxation and not to sell but don't mind making things for people who do really appreciate them. I made my first guitars mainly for the "challenge" just to see if I could. Anyway guys , send those pics to broberson60@gmail.com and sometime in the future when you have forgotten all about it I might suprise you. Billy, I love your pictures!

I will take some good pics of my guitars and send them to you. The ones I had on here a while back are really lame, but wanted to just get some pics up as a post.

I think building and shaping the necks would be the hardest part.

I have my guitars set up by two different luthiers. They both do work on very famous guitar players guitars. My strings are set so low that I cannot even use a slide on them. They do great work.

I only have an acoustic at the moment, its an Art & Lutherie, they're made in canada, not very expensive like 300 or something. I have yet to throw down some money on anything expensive but when i do it will be a les paul.

Another quick one for you.
I used to live in Seattle. Well, I worked with a friend of mine named Art. We both worked at Boeing. Anyways, Art lived next door (and still may) to Jimi Hendrix's brother. So anyway, Art comes to work and says...guess what I did last night? I asked him what? He said Jimi and his brother next door were making so much noise playing, that I went over and knocked on the door and told them if they didn't keep it down I was going to call the police. - I was speechless...a deer staring into the headlights.
