Also, the company announced today that it plans to be debt free by the end of 3rd quarter 2009!!!

Add all this to outstanding profit margins and amazing subscriber and revenue numbers...

We've got a winner here IMVHO.
I am going to look into ISFL closer tonight.. That might just be a good move, but I want to check out everything about it. For some reason it kind of interests me. I just don't know enough about it yet, but that has never stopped me before, lol.

Thx JS, I think it was too.

My previous avg on IFSL was .001865. Selling only 35% of my position took more than half of my original investment out of the stock. I now have only 1700$ invested for an avg price of .00125.

The money bought me 2.5 mil shares of a stock that will be doing very well in the future also.

Which pps will perform better between MGLG and IFSL? I have no idea. But I really don't care. They are both expected to double a couple of times over the next few months, and by buying a third stock I further diversify my portfolio. (Not by much, but hey its something.)

    So now I own:
    MGLG (natural gas)
IFSL (software to reduce debt and increase savings)
BEHL (the best damn algae farmers in the business)

What a great mix for this economy, don't you think?
I like the mix of different businesses, and I like the future of each stock. I am very happy with my current situation.

Bill, decided not to buy another motorcycle till next summer. This summer is almost over and I'd just have to pay $200/month to park it during the winter. Yes, parking is expensive in Manhattan. Not to mention having it serviced next season before riding it, not using a year of registration OR insurance...
Perhaps next year we'll all be multi-millionaires and I can get myself the $72,000 Ducati I've always wanted!! Dare to dream.
Just not a smart move right now.

Finally, I just got caught up with everything. I was able to check my blackberry (etrade account) while working and was happy with the outcome. Since this is my first rodeo, I was thinking the pop would be bigger, but after reading the other site and this I have realized that slow and steady seems to be better. I am going long with this stock. Shots, Bill, Dave, Bass and anybody else who wants to through me their .02, what do you think? I also have a ignt. The other site has a few good words about it. Boy this is FUN!!!

I know there aren't many here who use Ameritrade (if any), but im trying to set up strategy desk to do some backtesting. Do any of your platforms allow you to do anything like that? Im trying to think of something that would be a good buy trigger for pennies and something that would be a good sell trigger. Is this even worth doing for pennies? It seems like they dont even follow any of the typical indicators or TA patterns.
It would be great if it would let me input "buy on news" and "sell on news + 2 days"

A brokerage that's really set up to do those sort of things is "Think or Swim", I believe, I've been meaning to open an account there. The commissions may be a little steeper for pennies.

Others that backtest and set up automatic trading systems use tradestation, etc. There are many automated set up software with backtesting, and I believe you feed that info into another brokerage - say like interactive brokers.

I've spent a lot of time trying to set up automatic trading systems, and they are all stock dependent - it doesn't appear that there is a magic bullet for every stock. I've posted before that AAPL can be traded usually with a 4 EMA/16 EMA cross... that's the simplest one I've come across and it is subject to whipsaw like any other.

I found one setup that appears to work well generally that was featured in a TA mag, but again, this is for general market growth stocks, and you would want to set it up to trade maybe 15 positions+. So you're talking at minimum $15,000.

Anyway, there are a slew of backtesting programs out there. I don't know of any that will read the news for you - particularly separate good news from bad. I think you at TOS (think or swim) you can backtest for free with an account. Other programs maybe run from $200 to $1500+ it seems.

While not in pennies for that long of a time, I'm still a fan of buying EOD on a sign of strength with a target in mind - however, I'm trying to use TA to catch the middle of a single move. Anyone following this type of strategy will not make the big bucks, as these are TA based entries and exits that are not aimed at the big win - with the exception of say hitting a 300% gain or somehting and removing some, and letting the rest ride. The big bucks are from speculative plays and getting in early and gritting your teeth through the peaks and valleys.

    Two things for you.
    1. Like you, I am in a very interesting mix of stocks that I believe reflect the direction of our "new" economy and thinking from Washington D.C. Only time will tell.
    2. As for your motorcycle; I recently spied a local guy who took a Honda Rebel/whatever with a blown engine and turned it into an electric motorcycle. If you Google it, you will see what fun it can be.
Go find one with a blown engine and convert it. Have much fun.
If not...then I did spy a nice '99 Ducati (I love the desmos, too) locally that the guy is only asking $3500 for. I have no idea what condition it's in, but the pics on Craigslist look pretty good.

    Whats up Herd.
    Thx for the kind words.
Ducati's are definitely my all time favorites, but lately I've been looking at the Triumph Thruxton. Ever seen one? Just google it and you'll see two-wheeled perfection. Duc's are great, but I love the classic look. The bike that was just wrecked was a 1976 Honda CB 400 Four Super Sport. And it was perfect.
Oh well, had fun riding it for a few weeks and i'll get another something or other next year.
About the electric bike - it's a bit difficult to run an extension cord out of a 14th story apt in manhattan. Sounds very "green" tho.

$200 a month to park a motorcycle is ridiculous! You would essentially be buying it over and over every few months. I don't blame you. That whole proposition is way expensive.
