I almost forgot, looks like they are trying to ram this health care through, so be careful and watch it closely.

There will be a trade to be made on whatever side we land on, so look at both sides, and line up your ducks to shoot!! Have a good one Bill!! Talk to ya later!!!
I know that it is very hard to do. You know my feelings.

They definitely are trying to ram a package through without reading it. Insanity.

That is why I love Glenn Beck so much. The man has a grasp on reality.

I wish that I could stand up on a soapbox and have America's attention for just 60 seconds...That would make my life's causes.

Sean here is how to post charts

Here is how to post charts and such:

I use a program called Paint.NET. It is FREE and is paintbrush.exe on steroids. It is very easy to use and works great.

    !) Alt PrtScn
    2) Open Paint.NET and then Edit, then Paste
    3) Then use the rectangle select button in the tools box to the left (It is the upper left icon)
    4) Select the information on the image that you want
5)Then select Image on the top menu and choose Crop to selection.
6)Optional: you can re-size the image with Image then choose Resize. If you screw anything up, you can go back with Edit then Undo.
    7) Save the image to your computer as a .JPG
    8) Upload it to a server (where you have a web page ((maybe your service provider provides a website space for you)) or a site that you can upload pictures to)
9)Then insert the image link in a post here. Use Insert Image button.

    Hope this helps.

I love the movie, "The Christmas Story". I look so forward to it every year. It is a lesson of what we used to be. I also love "Leave it to Beaver". I love the old days, even Benny Goodman and the Big band music. I just love freedom.

Good night and have a pleasant flight.......

That game is a true sensation. Shots brought it up and I have a ball with it. If you stop at each day, and look up the candle, it will just be a matter of time before it is second nature as to how the stock will perform the next day. There is certainly no hard and fast rule for success, but it puts odds on your side.

I typically spend about a minute or less looking at a chart, because I have learned them that well. But when I dig deeper, it can take 30 minutes to an hour to really form an opinion with detail.

Charts are fun and informative, because they include everything about the company. They include all of the relevant information about a company's earnings, new products, management and so on. It is all incorporated into the price of the stock.
Hahaha - you should see me play that thing... I'm such a spaz - I click so fast that sometimes I get too many clicks in without knowing what happens until the computer catches up. But, its a real treat, since it really showed me again how important the weekly charts are. I have 2 games going on different computers. I also from time to time put the results in a spread sheet, so I can get my win/loss percentage - easier to count by hand i guess. One game the buy and hold is $$$$$, the other game its about to bust to zero. So it kind of depends on if you get a bunch of bear or bull charts in a row... but the cool thing is, I'm just momentum trading using the longer term support and resistance lines I mentioned to sean (well, not the fibs, and I go so fast, I don't bother to draw anything... so no I look for no patterns except for pennants), ... thoughts back on track... the cool thing is, on both games, my results are the same, about 60-70% win rate. The unfortunate thing, is that I'd like the calculations to be based as EOD - as I would end and begin them according to that in real life. I'm thinking about writing the guy to see if he'll do it for me. Anyhoo, for me, I like the idea of swing trading options in real life... to lower the time I'm in the market. And the game helps.

My general strategy for the game is look at mostly price support/resistance on the long term, look at the trend, let it hit, look for the reversal candles, enter, exit on hanging men. Or go in on sets of higher highs and lows, exit on hanging men or S/R lines... or if its a small fluctuation, keep going. Also breakouts at all time highs work great, those I hold the longest.

It takes all the time of looking for classic chart patterns like I usually do out of it cause I'm so impatient, and truthfully, those are more for nasdaq growth stocks anyway - classic patterns don't work well on dividend type stocks, but it helps when I combine the stuff I use in the came with classic chart patterns in real life. These last 2 option trades I made were some of the better ones I've made, and thanks to that game, if I see the guy in the sky, I'm cashing out... unless Sean says to let it ride.

Funny on that game too - you can always tell a bad earnings report - sometimes you can tell what time period it is in - well, whether its 2001 or the end of 2007. Also, tells you which stocks to avoid altogether - like ones that have a narrow trading range long term.

    Great tool though.

The cool thing about the whole trading thing, is you always learn new stuff - I finally found a use for bollinger bands thru a website the other day, I always hated those things.

I also am training myself to get out of trades that move sideways too long, and staying out of the market. I used to have a bad habit of letting patterns bust and stay in, and that only ties up capital, and sets you up for a loss in many cases.

I should start another game where I do slow down and really study each chart - but its so damn fun, I just want one chart after the next. I drink about 2-4 cokes a day.

SQNM should pay off - they had some bad press, but they are real - its a company down the street from me. I got in at $3.29 at one point, but got stopped out after the pop up to $5. Its a biotech, so not completely health care. Once they get their stuff back in order, I'm thinking the price may recover. But, as I've stated, I'm not that great of a speculator.
