    MGLG News

Here is the confirmed latest posted by Conestago_Days on the spoked wagon wheel hub:

I just got off the phone with Karen and she said that they still don't have volume numbers. She did say that they are planning on reporting volume numbers on the (11) wells they just acuiried resently as well as the long awaited Martin Lease. Pretty much the same report I got from her two weeks ago. She thinks and hopes the reports will be out by the end of July. Patients will be rewarded.
    GO MGLG

    Young Oil

There are rumors, and I repeat rumors on Yahoo that MGLG will acquire Young Oil. Let's see if we can dig up some info on this.

Hey, I can talk to myself all day on here!

    Young Oil Company

First of all, it is located in a rather perverse location..Anyway here is some info:

    YOUNG OIL CORP.

57 OF 72 -YOUNG OIL CORP HAS BEST HIT TO DRY HOLE RATIO IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE

Young Oil Corporation, a privately owned oil and gas exploration, based in Knob Lick, Kentucky, has the best record for drilling producing wells in the state of Tennessee.

“We are 57 for 72 through our first four years,” explains Anthony Young, CEO and owner of the firm.

“Actually, our hit ratio has improved with each passing year, and we expect to do as well, if not better in 2001-2002. We have a solid acreage block in a very productive area.

“We have a new drilling rig that allows us to speed up our exploration program considerably, and we believe we have a good handle on finding more of these Tennessee fracture-enhanced reservoirs.” he added.

Young focuses his exploration efforts on shallow formations, less than 2000 feet. In fact, he has several discoveries at less than 500 feet. For example, the Nancy Peace #4, a 460-foot Fort Payne well in Overton County produced 10,332 barrels of oil in the first six and a half months on pump. And it is still producing today.

“There are thousands of potential productive leases in Tennessee and Kentucky. We are going to drill a lot of them, but we could do more with some more good financial partners,” says Young.

For more information, contact: Anthony Young, Young Oil Corporation, 154 A. Young Rd., Knob Lick, KY 42154. Phone 270-453-3208. Fax 270-453-3209. Web site: www.youngoilcorp.com.
