i think this move will not be like the last 2, i could be wrong but dont expect it to sell back off into the .30's, well i guess you could expect it but i dont think its going to happen. not on this news.

Howard really blasted Scott Greenstein this morning over the Rosie signing, said it was his idea to bring Rosie to Sirius, courted her when she was there, and wanted her for his channels, blasted the rollout of Rosie on the stars channel as inept, wanted to have a big announcement at Sirius or do Letterman, blasted lack of hype, Robin chimed in and noted that doesn't the company want to sell subscriptions, or is the announcement being made to Sirius listeners only. Howard claims he's only an employee and that management knows better and basically ripped them a new one...

Clearest signal yet that he's really done at the end of his contract and maybe he does podcast willie.

He's really pissed and maybe Mel should listen to this. If he does, Scott Greenstein is done and well, he should be.

Howard is being Howard. Howard doesnt even take himself seriously. This is all negotiations. Your playing right into it.

Ben: No he isn't. He's really upset, insists that this remeinds him that he's just an "employee" just like he was a viacom, clear channel and infinity. He really wanted Rosie for his channels. Anyway did you see the press release, Rosie refining women's radio? Rosie's a draw and not limited to women, the whole thing is a joke. The PR note went out at 1201am. Can't these idiots in the marketing department at Sirius ever get anything right?

They got it right. If Howard wants to be treated like a high priced whiney talent, then thats how you get treated.

Lmaze.you just gave the reason why SXM did it this way,Howard was going to rip them about it and ruin it for them,soi they rushed out a PR.

I disagree. I think he would result in no more than 1 million cancellations. Now factor in his contract.... That money can now be spend on other talent...
What did you really lose? now if its 2 or 3 million, thats probably not a gamble they would take. If they felt this was the case, I doubt they would be doing anything to piss him off. But they cant allow Howard to dictate there future anymore. Those days are gone. Its grown beyond him now.

Who in their right mind would be trading this penny stock in after hours or pre market the cost is to high with the amount of shares that are going to have to be sold to really make it worth buying or selling.

Not true if the stock is up enough%.

If you own 100,000 shares - on etrade it would cost you about $450, but if it was up to .50, you would take a $4500 profit if your thinking is that it would open tomorrow or pull back to .46 or so.

For a penny or two, not worth it just like you said.

There were times that I was too cheap to pay for the commission and it cost me 6 or 7 cents on the stock because by the time the market finally opened, it lost all pre-market games.

Gamble of course, but that's what we do here.

He is mad because in her interview they discussed her coming to his channels. On top of that, he probably really believes in her and doesn't like the midnight press release and lack of hype. That being said, they still have plenty of time to ramp her up since the press release says that she wont even be on board for 3+ months.

Maybe this is compound frustration in conjunction with the iPhone app? Maybe he feels like people should be letting him know what the hell is going on there? It doesnt matter if management cares about his opinion, they should act like they do. Everyone needs to managed differently... if Howard wants to feel like he is involved, then let him think he is involved.

I agree with you Charles, under one condition. This isnt Howard just being Howard. You have to allow for that. He is business man first, an entertainer second, and this might just be posturing for the contract talks. If management thinks hes upset, it gives him more leverage in talks.

Sold 1/2 my position at .471, now back again at .446 to go 100% balls to the wall again.

We could settle at .44 - .45 today unless we get a late day big push from short covering.

Nice trade. I reversed what you did today. I sold at .44(small over core lot, planned sale) and rebought at .47(planned buy). Ill take it your way any day.

He can and he will, those days are not gone, and no they havent. He will still be on Sirius XM when this contract period ends, no doubt in my mind. If he isn't it will be because he is totally done because, Sirius XM can not afford to let him go back to terrestrial. My 2 cents.

After twenty years of listening I like to think that I can see through most of the shtick... he genuinely sounded aggravated and he made great points about how this could have been handled better as far as marketing and bringing buzz to Sirius XM. He didn't sound whiney, he sounded like a team player that was disapointed in his company. He said that he would ahve intoduced her on his channel, or via a press conference, or on david letterman. His ideas would have deffinately created a free run of press.

I am not the kind of guy that would go work for the competition for more money, especially when I had a chance to work for something great. Maybe thats just me but, what if this guy just doesn't have faith in SATRAD? Why the hell would they let a guy like this who probably knows trade secrets go to the competition? You would think that this is the kind of place you would want a no compete contract.
