I cant contain the errors!!!
I dont mettle with their madness. THey love to be the first with news....Sometimes when your that way you get it wrong. Maybe they feel like they need to beat you guys to the punch so to speak. I tell them not to worry. No worry of Charles or Tyler ever leaking anything good. LOL
That was a joke actually, I just had to say it. Funny. Good stuff. Admit that was funny. LOL

So anyho....
I did take 10 minutes , as suggested. Stretched. Played with my pen....
And then remembered. I wrote a least 10 posts today bitching about this bs of a day. So I realized I was wasting my time, and stopped. Now im typing again.

that is what i like about you. you're hardheaded but you can be reasonable...keep up the good work. we just have to see how the market will react tomorrow and hope they absorb the app release as good news somehow.

The app has a release date of June 3 attached to it, so one could perhaps make a case that it was released in in conjunction with inside trading but it would be a guess in my opinion.

This was all discussed at last December meeting,they would address yearly bonus incentives for officers in March and they ewanted to hold onto cash so issued shares instead,and like all of us they wanted the money and used a planned sale registered with a filing to sec.it is not inside trading technically...
Trust me it is a non event...

Bass,just in case anybody doesn't know,Howard doesn't work for SXM,he is paid 100mil to staff his 2 channells as he sees fit and provide his show for 5 years plus he got a boat load of shares as well and warrants at $4to $5 he can exercise...everyone on his channells work for him but think SXM has some say tho...

That is right...it was disclosed and would be a non event...and you are exactly right it is not inside trading...that was the wrong terminology. Thanks for the correction.

I did not know this...so Howard is like a sub-contract to Sirius? His contract was written to provide the entertainment to Sirius for 5 years so that would mean his contract probably did not have a provision for internet streaming...so technically he does not have to provide it for that platform...unless it was a clause or something. Interesting!!!

Correction. Sirius is the #6 free music app. Just above finger piano Lite. I personally downloaded the app early this morning and for some reason I am in no hurry to activate even my 7 day free trial. I wonder what that is all about? Oh. I know..,. SIRIUS CAN SUCK MY ASS! There. I said it. I don't think there has ever been any company in history appeared to be trying so desperately to be profitable while simultaneously succeeding in undermining itself with the most obnoxiously retarded product and marketing decisions. I am being convinced more and more of an internal conspiracy to destroy this company before they can turn a profit. Something ain't right here.

Well said! The interesting part will be understanding "why"? Is Howard really too "mature" for the app as published by Bloomberg? Or is this a money thing?
Suffice to say, as you note, the result is pitiful.

There could be alot of things,more Ad revenue and he is on other PDA's and on the Iphone already with 00tunes as someone posted earlier,so I'm sure it is about money for Mobil rights as was reported by company Press release.
This is pure conjecture on my part here,but it has to be something like that.

P.S.actually he just chose Blackberry as his phone and XM has always had an APP to stream there.so maybe he will only be available on a blackberry new APP,the company said they will be on all smart phones in the CC..

IMHO, the new sirius app is in competition for the premium pandora and slacker market. imo, sirius music is 1million times better than both those other 2 sites combined but bottom line- sirius is competing for that market share.

in order for sirius to dominate the mobile media stream, we need to get stern and other premium content on the iphone app. THEN I PROMISE ( OR I WILL BET $$$$$) THEY WILL DESTROY EVERY MOBILE MEDIA STREAM PROVIDER. AND THE STOCK PRICE WILL REFLECT THAT.

I would hate to have the job of negotiating all of these contracts what a nightmare! Many dimensions to all of this...too much for me to comprehend all the dynamics at play.

i have to disagree that its a mature rating obstacle.. PLAYBOY CHANNEL is on the sirius iphone app and it is hella more vulgar and mature than stern. my ASSUMPTION is its a contractual issue , and one that shouldve been completed prior to this release.
