im listening right now to the itunes podcast, never used itunes in my life until just now and i found it... loading a pic in a minute

When did you download it? iTunes Podcast (which the Stern show was) is often a download, not a stream. Thus you can listen to it anytime you want once it is downloaded. Try to get on the Stern page now and it is dead.

can any1 just upload anything to itunes charles? or does itunes have to first approve it and make sure its legit>?

Our SBR podcast went through a review and was accepted. Could someone sneak something through? Sure. Could they get a feed accepted and change the content? I have no idea but it is plausible.

I have seen this stuff on itunes since howard first came online at sirius.

But it doesn't matter folks! Whether or not you can listen to a Howard clip is meaningless. It's all about the lack of LIVE Howard Stern channel via the iPhone app. That's it. SXM has to deliver the differentiating content via this app for it to have the kind of impact the company needs. Until they do, it's not going to do much for the company. Sure, they'll gain some subs. But, enough to make a dent? I doubt it. Slacker and Pandora will eat them for lunch because pay for music vs. free music isn't going to win. Pay for Howard, MLB, NFL, plus music, etc, is the winning combo.
