I am definitly going to buy and hold long. I have nothing but time on my hands. Sh**, it seems like I will be holding sirius for ever. lol I got into AIG at .34 and plan on holding that for a long time also. I just wasn't so sure about FNM. I am now...

I see that ocnf is in a side channel right now whats your take...???
Unless of course you are not following it...
Bill feel free to jump in here, you know how many times we have bought and sold ocnf , I am just wondering about taking a more long position in it
rather than selling off at a 15% gain...
I will look at the chart after mowing the lawn....damn it! lol... M.A. is out of town so I have the tractor fired up and mowing. My wife does a better job mowing than I do. That is a hard thing to admit, but it is true. I have to go to Home Depot also and buy some agent orange for some weeds and maybe a little napalm to entertain my neighbors. She get's the Zen out of mowing. I just get thirsty. I will check it out, Ray. Be on it here soon.

Ask Ray about FNM, he has owned it I don't know how many times. Way back when. It seems like ancient history now.

You can say "shit" here, lol.

Financials are not my choice now, but everybody is different. I just got burned out on them, you know, like eating too much of something and then getting sick. They are a great long though. I oppose them, because the government has their socialist hands in them.

Nice to see you post here.

IF it does hit that level after news , expect a huge selloff. people are predictable, they will take profits. THIS IS THE BIG NEWS EVERYONES WAITING FOR. what is the next PR anticipation after this? just hopefully i can trade in a high range once we peak. i think people should start thinking exit strategy if theyre not in this long term. because this will be their chance. im not trying to be a bummer but in order for this to keep reaching new highs it needs either manipulation or news or effective pumpers. the upcoming week/s will be really wild!!! be ready and keep your eyes on the computer.

    * news im talking about has to be good.

disclaimer---this is all my opinion and no way fact. i am in no way a professional trader/analyst/advisor. im just contributing ideas that are floating in my head.i am in no way telling people what to think or expect..DO YOUR OWN DUE DILLIGENCE
I am going to comment on this after I mow the lawn, also. Everything is at a stand still until the lawn is mowed and the weeds are sprayed. My wife will be home Monday and I want it all nice for her. (Oh, Bill, you are so thoughtful...I know, lol)

FNM: at .66 it is definitely a buy. However . . . you said you want to make a quick buck. Quick in terms of trading is subjective. Buying at .66 for a quick buck would mean selling in the .80's. It could take two weeks or it could take a couple of months to get back to the .85 or even .90's.

In the long term (going through the fall of this year) it is an excellent buy because the govt is highly vested in this company. It most likely will not fail. The price of this stock will almost certainly rocket up to a couple of bucks once the conservertership is lifted. When will that be? Who knows. Could be this summer, could be fall, could be longer.

Personally, this is a long for me. I will hold it until... whenever. So if you will want this money to use in the near future for powder on other deals . . . your money could be locked up for a while.

That is my take and of course . . . I am guessing and you always have to do your own DD excetra, excetra,

    Bill,
So after studying the MMs what was your take on it?

    Bass,
My take on MGLG is very similar. I think we are working more with the human's psyche here and of course based on yesterday's performance the MM's. It depends on how excited everyone will get.

If the well turns out double thumbs up then, this could be blue sky.
If the well turns out null . . or inconclusive (more testing etc) I would think we could see some gradual slow climbing until more news.
If the well turns out bad . . . then we drop like a rock.

Assuming the best and the news is good. Then there will be the usual ratcheting up. Lots of profit taking will be going on. That will slow the charts down. Could be good in the sense of keeping the price stable however. Also if the news is good a big hope would be to attract some institutional buyers. That would be outstanding for us.

    Nothing to do until Monday
    Good luck everyone
After I mow the lawn and kill weeds then I will answer this. I got a late start this morning (clearing throat). That Maker's Mark got the best of me. I didn't think so at the time, but it apparently kicked my ass. I don't have a headache though....I am just kind of fuzzy today, but am getting over it fast.

    Bill, Ray, Bass, magician

Waiting on dry powder to be released into my TDA account...Available for trading...just not on non-marginable...waiting sucks!

My question to the brain trust on this forum is this...Do you think MGLG will cont to jump .005 each day! Only have small amount of powder ready at this time. do you think that I have a couple more days...or will I miss the boat?

BCLE- any ideas where this one could run too...anyone have a price target in mind or is it buy and see how far it runs!!! Holding good number of BCLE...No MGLG...

Bill- no offense...you are so PW!!!LOL Be careful with the napalm...do not scratch your self(you know what I mean) that bad boy might fall off!!!LOL Also, do not blame me for the drop in BCLE the last time...I swear...I didnot buy anymore!

I'll check in later to see what kind of advice you stockpickingeniuses come up with.

    Jeff

    Ski,
You got AIG at .34!!! I am sooooo Jealous.

    Ray,
My take on OCNF is just go long. It is a great stock. 5 stars all the way. Plus once the economy rights itself the dividends are killer if we get in at this price. Think about it. Get in for about a 1.60 and get dividends at .70ps when the price goes up. I mean that is awesome. So for me I am looking at this one more as an investment than a swing stock.
For the final word on this I will defer to Bill as this is his Stock....
The stock I loved for so long was HIMX. I sold out at 2.90 and now look at it. <sigh> But I did get about 110% gain so can't cry too much.

    Bill,
Looking forward to your analysis of the MMs work friday with MGLG. Makers Mark is a good brand. I think it goes well with yard work. Also a little trivial for the day: Mountain Dew was originally made to be a mix with whiskey. (or so I read)

Currently, I am probing around and looking at JNIP. It is interesting and shows the volatility to make this a good swing stock.

    Just Sirius,

You have asked the $100,000 question. We are all wondering what will happen. Currently, this is a stock on the uptrend . . . which means it is a buy. However, a few days from now . . . . unknown as everything depends on the PR.

One thing I have learned is never get anxious. If you miss getting in early on a stock . . . just wait there will be others.

Case in point just recently was SPNG and SFIO.

Patience and study is the key to swing trading. Relax there will be plenty of more opportunities.
