I bought SIRI back in February when I heard a friend mention that he bought @.42 and it was worth nothing @ .17. I've never bought a stock before and I only understand about half of what you guys are talking about, but I'm learning fast. I bought in because I didn't think it made any sense that the only Sat radio company in the U.S. was worth nothing. So I opened a Scottrade account and bought 10000 shares at .1388. I was alittle worried when I found out the next day that they may go bankrupt (shows how much I know) Anyway, I enjoy reading all the opinions here and it has given me the insight and balls to go long with this. I did this for fun but it would be nice to make a few bucks. I can't wait to see if anything happens next week!!

Yes , except these days unfortunately you have to catch it in between the arguments and bashing . So sad.

    Hi BTR,

You know I really don't see it that way. Maybe I just view the
sometimes heated discussions differently than yourself but I enjoy
the back and forth exchanges. A lot of strong personalities
with a wide range of opinions who will debate their point of view
until exhausted. Kind of like families.

Actually it wasn't the difference of opinion I was speaking of , it was the personal attacks amongst the posters and not differences of opinion on a particular stock related subject.

Any ideas on curbing the nonsense and building a stronger community are welcome via PM or email anytime. I would say that I personally respond to +95% of any email sent to me and 100% of all PM's.

Every time I turn to you guys, someone has a great idea so, don't let me down this time around.

I agree totally. I have to deal with more personal behind the scenes crap then anyone knows. I do everything I can to ignore it and not let it spill over. I think all the BS is getting less and less each day, hopefully that is a good sign.

To say that I had on off day would be an understatement. I totally misread the details, admitted it, and seemingly that wasn't good enough... which is frustrating to say the least.

Its been tough for me to make it through the day lately. I am going to take a hiatus from the forums until I am 100% again because there is no room for mistakes when you are under a microscope.

Charles. I know your health is a BIG item for you right now. And I always wish for you the best. I wish I could spend more time here during the day, but my job keeps me on the roads all day. I click on ads. And have generally commented on the articles vs. the forums. That being said, I've enjoyed all of your posters and SRK and many others are what keep me coming back. And of course the spirit of the website, which for me is why I bother clicking anyway. Anyway, you mentioned seeking out help for monitoring the forums etc., and I think that is an item that could bring about a deload for you personally. I have stayed here. REFUSE to visit ANY other site, other than my antics on yahoo. I have lost several board poster friends in this whole controvery with BM. And I would like to keep each and everyone of the ones left. Thanks again for your response. Sorry the damn day was such a pain. If you had a beer logo I would tip one for you on this post. Take care.
