Stkdn,
I have some of the same feelings you express, though with one difference. I have followed this stock since 2001. I have bought and sold a number of times over the years; some for profit, some for losses. But I have always seen value in this company and innovation possibilities in the product. Since you purchased SIRI as well, I am going to assume you also see value in the company. As a stockholders we should focus on the direction that is getting this company to a positive EPS. This is when our investments begin to gain the leverage that we seek. If you are purely speculating for the quick fix, then you are in for some pain. If you have invested with $$ that you need to be protected and liquid, then you are in the wrong stock.
We mostly all agree that SIRI doesn't do a great job of positive promotion for the stockholders, but at the end of the day do you still see this company succeeding? If you think not, then sell now and save your sanity. If you think yes, then start promoting the value of this company to everyone you know because that is how you overcome the bashing that others feel compelled to exert.
There is roughly 19 million subs and millions more that enjoy those subscriptions. SIRI is going to go EPS positive in one of the worst economies is recent history. Where do you think this stock is going to end up when that happens? Your .72 average will look like a bargain.
No problem being real, but don't forget the positive!![]()
