Is that really a big jump from the base plan? I mean what the hell is $120 when $80 is the base? I bet there are a significant number of people above the base plan. Is $80 really a lot now? I only pay about $60 per month but seemingly my friends dont bat an eye at $100+ especially the blackberry users.

YES, there will be extra charges for bandwith. Even 4g will take it up the a** if streaming music over the cell network becomes even bigger than it already is. NOTHING IS FREE. You either pay another $15/month to stream music over your phone, or 12.99/month for the best dam radio out there.

    NO BRAINER

NOTE: KEEP ARGUING CAUSE SIRI IS ALMOST BACK TO .34 AS WE SPEAK. I THINK ALL THIS BITCHING IS WORKING. HAHA

I am not saying anyone will buy an iPhone just to stream internet music. But 100 million people will have iPhones where that is a nice added feature if they so chose to use it and man oh man do those iPhone geeks love to show off what their iPhone can do.

    .34!!!!!! street says

"This rally should run to .40c, slow for a short period and then continue to the .48c range."

oddly enough we seem to have the same timing, i wonder what his timeframe is though, i think .40 is possible by end of next week unless this becomes a massive rally. maybe alot of people who sold out are now begging to get back in as they see it go up heh, that would rock.

I am far from your stereotypical nerd. The funny thing is that the geeks I work with are not the ones doing this, its regular moderately tech savvy people. In fact, it always amazes me that the real geeks are not the ones who early adopt this stuff. I work on a team with 6 programmers and none have iphones. Not one. I bet that most average Americans think that geeks are the ones buying these things but at my work its the receptionists, managers, salespeople, and NOT the actual computer geeks.

Charles, theres a reason I have always said penitration went up to high to fast into those lower end models. I knew the masses could not and would not pay for it, at the high cost SIRI/XMSR where paying for it at the time. Theres a reason BMW has just over 70% take rate and the other lower end models are lucky to get 30% take rate. So while you may say 40 dollars is no big deal the reallity is it is, 13 dollars is to the people (the masses) buying the lower end models.
