I'm off today from work and following SIRI on my Ameritrade account. Yesterday it showed the short interest being 4.41%, and today it has doubled to a whopping 8.96%! What's the deal on that?
the JPM analyst just asked a SIRI question..but..the moron asked a legal question about NOL issue.....that is not analytical at all!!! She could've looked that up herself! MORON!
ok, Liberty call ended....nothing really important with respect to SIRI....one comment that they like SIRI biz, so that's good, but nothing discussed to provide info on broader plans. The more I think about this....all consuming f'n stock....the more I'm thinking that SIRI and Liberty are not going to discuss anything publicly to avoid market manipulation allegations. Just mentioning a DTV-SIRI co-marketing or other synergy would send SIRI way up. If and when there's an operational/synergy event, that's when it will come out publicly....nothing till that point. there will be some leaks of course, because as soon as discussions branch out to people in either company that are needed to operationalize a plan, it leaks. We just have to wait.

All I know is that I'm new to this whole thing. One of my buddies at work talkes me into it. Personally, I'm glad he did. I only have about 3000 shares so far. I've been buying a little each week since December. I think I'll keep buying (SiriusXm) shares. I hear too many good things. I'll keep it and see what happens.
