    OCNF and FREE

It looks like a great time to buy. They may go down a bit, then maybe they might not. They are very hard to gauge.

One thing for sure, though....with a little time they absolutely will go up big time. They are a terrific investment. If you bought them higher, then I personally would just hang onto them and buy more, but that is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt (Disclaimer).

I am into different types of stocks now, other than dry shipping stocks, and want to catch them while they are on the uptrend. I will have more on this later. Thanks to you guys and girls that are testing and looking at them.

Have a great night and a great trading day tomorrow.

You are now an OCNF'r.....smart move!! The dry bulks could go down some more, but what the hell....they will sweep with a vengence as you all ready know! I loaded on a bunch last week @ 1.09 which is a steal. You really timed it well!

Mel's checks are getting worse all of the time. Chrysler going down and GM....yikes! Not a siriusly pretty picture.

FREE is a great bargain also and is rated a BIG buy.

Okay, I bit on SSCCQ. 10,000 shares and I'm going to just let them sit until their bankruptcy is worked out.

If it goes to $0.20, I'm a happy man. If it goes back to where it was one year ago...I'm the happiest man alive.

Thank God there is not a SSCCQ Buzz website.

    It is definitely a long

SSCCQ is definitely a long long. From all that I can find, their management is certainly doing the right things.

Here is their operating report: http://www.smurfit.com/files/Februar...tingReport.pdf

Another link: (Just gathering info here and there....this is good news) http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/s...l?surround=lfn

    Check the chart here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards...board_id=14048

Here is the Yahoo message board link: http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/mb/SSCCQ.PK

Maybe some of this is informative and/or helpful. I will post more if I find it.

Got your PM...I will look at them this evening! Question...Since SSCCQ is BK...at what point will the common be worthless? Or can you hold long enough to see a recovery? Smurfit is a pretty big co. I believe the largest in the industry! Will definetly recover...but will the common be wiped out!

Still scoping out the price of Makers...

    Have a good one!

A good question for everyone to understand. Here is a good clear link on the matter:

    http://www.sec.gov/investor/pubs/bankrupt.htm

The safest way to play this company is to make money and get out! Before they come out of bankruptcy. Since SSCC has a Q on the end of it and they haven't issued a new lot of stock with a V on the end of it, the SSCCQ stock was involved in the bankruptcy. So it is smart to make money and scoot! They are not going to come out of bankruptcy over night, so I intend to hang on to a reasonable price and then leave. Any bankrupt stock is risky. If they weren't such a large company I wouldn't even attempt this. I hopefully won't be in it that long, but who knows.

Smurfit is a big company with 12 mills and a lot of other associated businesses. It is not like a lot of pink sheets that have a shed out in the back yard with a hand-painted sign on it.

They are going to sell a couple of mills I believe. I was reading some comments that the two up in Canada are being subsidized by the Canadian Government because the U.S. Mills are getting Bumbo money and without the Canadian Governments support they would get washed down the drain.

I am still researching. I believe that the management of Smurfit is very sincere and dedicated and really re-organizing. The only reason that they are on the pinks is because of delisting regulations. The article up above will let you see the light.

Their earnings are coming out. So we will see what happens here very soon. I believe it will be well-coordinated and relatively good news. I am interested in this, but not expecting a turn in the world at this point. We will just have to see. I don't expect any codswallop.

    Have a great night!

I am cautioned, but not fearful

    Hey Greg -

Read the link I gave to JustSirius about BK stocks. This is one that when it gets to .20 should still be bankrupt. Just be careful and apply the information in that link to your purchase. This is a Q stock, not a V stock. I am going to look up the vernacular in their bankruptcy statement, if I can find it and see what they said about their common stocks. Common stocks are on the low end of the totem pole. They can be absorbed by creditors and bond holders when coming out of bankruptcy. If I am making any wrong statements, please correct me.....anybody.

I am far, far, ions of light years away from being a bankruptcy expert, so some due diligence (research) on your part would be a good thing. I will contribute what I can find. I would appreciate the same if you find time.

I know that this is a weird play with a stock, but I got into this and had a way out with a good profit, and in my own foolishness hung too long. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I don't have any fear, but will be cautious.

My whole concept is to make some money and follow their news and sell at the right time. .20 would be just dandy! It is really a novel position to be in. This is really no position to be nebbish.

I am going to put in a limit order everyday though, just in case I go to the bathroom and miss a run. Speaking of which, I should do that tonight.

    Have a great evening,

    Bill
