another point to make look at a 6 month chart, check out the obv and macd, looks good to me.

one thing to worry about is they have tripped a debt covenant, i would seriously suggest listening to their 4q cc before doing anything.
On the surface it looks good. Like any oil or gas drilling operation there is a lot of risk, however, they go up and down a lot. Fortunately they are drilling principally in the same fields and not "Wild-catting", so they have a really good handle what is there, so that cuts a lot of the risk and speculation down. Sometimes things go wrong in the oilfield and to correct them costs tons of money and that can directly affect their cash situation and profitability.
Whether they are stuck in the hole, twist off, lose circulation and even drill bit costs changes, everything is a factor. Anything conceivable can happen out there.
The good thing is they have been in business since 1990 and the larger percentage of their wells are natural gas. This would hedge oil production surpluses.
The price sure does appear to be bottomed out so there is a lot of room for movement.
I haven't checked those earnings like you suggested yet, but I will.
It looks good from a money making stand point, less tripping a debt covenant.
I will have to listen to their 4thQ cc.
There is a whole bunch of room to move up there from looking at a chart.
yeah from what im hearing they have 90 days starting 4/30 to repay the bank 35 million cause their loan limit was dropped from 95 million to 60million and they were maxed out at 95 mil. Good news is they supposedly have some assets they could sell to make that 35 million payment. the chart would seem to imply things are good behind the scenes but its still risky.

Bill I missed my target buy for BNVI by a couple pennies and it has doubled since monday...
Stang,
Sounds like my life story, lol, I am going to do some more research tonight and tomorrow night and do some more sheets like we have been doing and will email them over to you.
Whenever I sell a stock it doubles!
I am sorry to hear that you missed that opportunity.
Bill
i wasnt going to put enough money in it to get rich off it so no big deal i'll find another one. I bought 3mil. QEDN at .0001 on monday and put a sell on it for .0002 so hopefully it will sell within a couple weeks if not i can sell it at what i bought it at and only be out $16
Hey Shots - Glad that SSCCQ worked for you today! I am thinking of putting more into that myself when I hit the magic number![]()
I have to see how things work out in the morning, but no matter what, I am keeping what I have.
The afternoons prior to closing are getting kind of dumpy now because of institutions moving really large blocks.
On top of that, stocks tanked going into the close as Carter Worth said on CNBC that it is time to sell stocks and the ride is over for the short term. I don't know anything about the man, so just take the info for what it is...whatever that is...I sure as hell don't know, lol.
Have a great one,
Bill

Hi all -
Kind of new here - so you folks think there's more upside for the general markets? My TA is to the downside for the next few weeks - as you can see by my positions...
By the way - AAPL reported - how is SIRI's stock correlated with theirs you think with this iphone app business?
AAPL came above analysts recs, but I may be in on the short side. But then again, I have enough positions. I was just thinking if it did head south after a headfake rally, it could be a catalyst for lower SIRI prices too.
Peace
Tripps would be the guy to ask about that type of thing....he keeps up with all of the news on things like that. Maybe he can help when he reads the thread. Maybe Newman knows also.
By the way, welcome to the thread!
Bill
