SIRI Intraday Thread: Tuesday April 21

For the daytraders out there, tomorrow is the day that is the least clear to me as far as activity goes. If I had to come up with a plan, it would be to buy early at 38, sell towards end of day around 41/42ish. I could be wrong though (It has happened once or twice ), so DYODD.

I'm not a day trader (close, I guess for SIRI I was a 2 day trader), but agree - tomorrow is muddy, I'm not trading - but I came up with some possibilities in the short term, just have to see if the setups actually materialize. If not - I'm off to other stocks.

newman, as for what a fake story can do...i sold all of my shares in GM the very second I saw the Headline "GM shares could go to Zero" didn't even read the article.

i was at $6 and sold it that minute at $3

alright guys here comes some wild speculation, as early as this afternoon i could listen to the online xm stream for free, as of right now i tried to jump on and listen but i have to sign up and pay 2.99 a month. its officially in action now. could we see an iphone ap release by end of week??? Would be nice.

Hi, The nice thing about SIRI is you can hold it and not worry. Eventually you'll be able to sell at a profit and at some point turn around and buy back your shares lower for a future further gain.
One important thing about SIRI is when it moves it goes further faster then most comparably priced stocks. And what ever direction you think it is going at any particular moment it can reverse faster then you can change your order. But the prime direction is up!!!

shit i tried to sign up and it wont let me they are updating the server, i guess i will have to go to my car to hear stern tomorrow unless they get it upgraded by morning and i can sign up. all those people who listen to stern on their pc's will be forking over 2.99 tomorrow to hear stern heh not bad

Had you done your research on GM prior to your investment? If so, you should have known if there was any validity to that news headline before you ever read it.

Split second decisions based on nothing more than a headline are ignorant. Sorry, but that is my opinion.

Here's an actual intraday question - how many times did the high (0.228) hit or how many 15 min candles marked the high on Feb 16

and the same for the 0.052 low on Feb 11?

Actually, after reading your post I was going to ask if anyone had a preference for which receiver to use. And also, are they taking down that service from the internet?

RUMOR ALERT!!!! I read earlier today, can't remember where, who,
how or when, there will be an announcement April 22, IPhone app.
I really hesitated to write this, of course I have no link, but I think you guys
know that I do not start rumors, just telling what I read. And again I
am stipulating it's a RUMOR. I am trusting nobody will be buying
Sirius because of my posting this.
