    Julietoo

Ouch...That really hurt. You treat me like I'm relmor or something like that.

Ya, Summers can be pretty hot, but in the pool with a cold one...still sounds better than in an ice hut freezing your a.. off. BTW, I would like to offer my apologies for the language that was used here the other day! Men amongst Men..no problem...but with ladies present!! Embarrasing.

All kidding aside, take away Detroit and a few other cities, Michigan is a beautiful place.

    Have a great day!

No, I like to tease back. Like I said in an earlier post my brothers
live in the Dallas area, previous to that they lived in Houston. It
has been a running joke between us about the weather. They
can't take our winters and I suffocated there in the summer. Texas is
a beautiful state from what I saw of it. Until I visited there, I thought
it was all flat land and tumbleweeds. Watched too many westerns, lol.
Thanks for the apologies, I was blindsided there for awhile. But I
think I did alright defending myself and thanks to a few other guys who
helped. I'm glad I stuck around, it's fun being in a boys club.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

    Julie

    Good Morning Tripp,

I agree with you about Texas. I think peole have misconceptions about every state. I sure did before I visited Texas. I thought it was beautiful. Dallas was hilly, like I said earlier I thought the state was all flat. Houston was
beautiful as was Galvenston and Port Arthor (sp). I had never seen houses
on stilts before! I may be visiting there again this summer and am looking
forward to seeing more of your beautiful state.
I hoe we have a great UP day with Sirius. Now I must go to work so
I can earn money to buy more Sirius, lol. Talk this evening, hopefully
I will be surprised, in a good way, on the stock price!
    Have a great day Tripp.

    Texas

Texas is a great state, I live in New Mexico, but only a few miles from the border and spend a lot of time in Texas. Most of my family ( the american part ) lives in Texas or were born and raised there.
BTW, I hope it is o.k. to talk about another stock in this particular thread.
I am long PDC and if someone else owns it or have some info I would appreciate any comment.
Thanks a lot and you'll have a great day.

Julietoo, look at these guys pushing Texas, you are right summers in Texas are hot, went to Law School in Louisiana and its hot, and winters in New Orleans can be brutal, about 50 degrees with 97% humidity. The cold goes right through you no matter what you are wearing.

Personally, I will take summers at the Jersey shore, where one can wind up at that wonderful city they call Atlantic and toss those little cubes down the green landscape, hopefully landing on the .....hard eight!

How far are you from Casino Windsor?

    Good Evening LMaze,

Casino Windsor is less than 50 miles away. I've been there a few times
but I pefer to gamble on stocks. Sirius is my adrenaline rush. In Detroit they
have the MGM Grand as well as Greektown Casino. The MGM is new and huge
very cool looking. Are you very far from Canada? Forgive my ignorance,
geography was not a priority. How did you end up going to school in Louisiana? Always interesting to hear peoples stories.
It's great to be on this board, a lot of good people with Sirius in common.

i was in ac last summer, was nice, did not have time to gamble or anything was there on business. The worst heat i have ever experienced was this summer in midland texas, omg it was horrible, 110 with lots of wind that felt like a blow dryer in your face full blast. Not to mention the sand it felt like iraq - 20 degrees. I think that is where bush lost his mind. I would too if i had to live with that weather for more than a couple months.

Julietoo: I live in New Jersey about 70 miles north of Atlantic City in a town called Holmdel so I get there often, because of the nature of my businesses I really can't take long vacations, so Atlantic City is my place, where I can relax and re charge the battery so to speak. I'm a Caesars and Harrah's guy, I've been going to Harrah's by the Bay in Atlantic City for over twenty three years and started to go to Caesars after Harrah's bought Caesars a couple of years ago. Each hotel has their charms, Caesars is slightly older and they really takes care of their table players. Harrah's has the nightlife around their pool. Check it out at Harrahs.com and a 45 story hotel tower which is the second tallest building in the state and from which the views are amazing. I love staying in this tower especially in the summer.

I graduated Tulane University Law School in 1984 and as a result I lived in New Orleans. I received a scholarship and loved every minute of the time I spent there.

Came home to Brooklyn and started a business which has expanded to New Jersey and now I'm buying a business in Vermont that I will be closing next week.

Have a great staff, each of whom has been with me for many years and who are loyal and as a result I can spend my winter weekends at Stratton Mountain in Vermont, snowboarding with my buddies. Once or twice a year I head West and go snowboarding in Colorado or in Lake Tahoe (a place that is so beautiful it could only have been made by God)

I try to get back to New Orleans as often as I can, especially now that Harrah's has opened one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. I love New Orleans for the food and the people, I have so many great memories for the time that I have spent there, and if truth be told, Katrina did such a job on such a great city. But New Orleans has a great spirit and it will come back better than ever.

By nature I am a conservative investor, with all blue chips and a diversified portfolio, but I spend my time buying or developing real estate. Sirius is my only spec stock but I believe in the company and love the product ( I have seven Sirius subscriptions and one XM with Best of)

I am also a Parrothead for life, already have front row seats for Buffett at Boardwalk Hall in August. Jimmy B is on Preset So is E street Radio but only for the Bruce that I grew up with. Nothing past 1984
My other fav music channels on Sirius are Lithium 24 and Octane 20. I like modern rock and some alternative, and enjoy Shade 45 for the late night drive home. Of course I'm a Howard guy and went to a BubbaPalozza in Atlantic City last summer.

So you asked for my story and there it is!
And Jersey isn't near Canada!!!! (LOL)

And please note that I was one of the first to defend your honor in that great battle of last week.

Yes Casino Windsor is a beautiful place and you should check it out more often.

So what do yo do at the bank?
