COS. Now you know I'm a trading exactly as we talked about a few months ago. And taking every penny I can whenever I can. I see your ringing the register yourself when possible. This is a great thread. Appreciate the views, and firmly believe we should continue with this strategy until patterns change. Piggybacking with the true market makers, IS a strategy the small retail guys can be successful at. Take Care COS.

JohnnyIrishXM, the reason I put that in is because they go hand in hand. No short queeze AND the reason the amount of shares held short is so high, the reason: Most shorted shares are held by the people invested in the debt. It kills 2 birds with one stone, because if I hear about; How there is going to be some big short queeze one more time, I am going to explode.

I agree, these Notes with their hedge are a hindrance to getting the SP where it needs to be before a R/S. If in announcing a R/S they could also Announce these notes being refi'ed with these Lent Shares coming off the market we could get a nice pop before the split making the take down after less likely... Might tighten things up nicely for a lower beta and less drama.... for a change... I don't really see it without more help from Malone or a dramatic recovery in the auto industry... both are possible.

I agree. Never been a big believer in a short squeeze, except of the BK announcement. Im glad to know those SI shares are mostly the lent shares. Knowing that, your right, there will never be a big short squeeze until the debt comes off.

This is the reason I put the last two comments up. I said this in response to Bradons article "So This Is What A Short Squeeze Feels like".

"Brandon, I dont know why that is such a surprise. I have been saying that most shorts in at this point are just investers in the converts and are shorting to protect their investment. That the only short sqeeze we would see is when the converts get paid off."

It feels like I am talking to myself sometimes. That was not even close to the first time that I said something very close to that. It feels like I am talking to a wall sometimes, then people wonder why I get the way I am when I hear the same shit repeated. I have pritty much had it because what ends up happening is I get pissed and then (uninformed) people think I am the ass hole. I normally dont mind to much, and still tried to help them by letting them in on this stuff way in advance, but I am fed up with tyring to help the ingreatful bastards who were just saying I was crazy for the post I put up months prior that latter has turned out to be correct.

Thanks for your input on this. I now believe Homer, since John has now confirmed this.

Why I wanted to bring this up again. Im tired of the Short Interest report being such a news event. It appears as long as its under 200 million, that means some of those shorts are now long, and would appear bullish on that aspect for the stock. There is no huge hedge fund short open or big trader legally shorting this stock. Naked shorting... Who knows..
Brandon thinks there is constant in and out shorting of this stock however, and that I do believe is happening, on a day to day basis however. Probably wont show up on the SI report, as quick as they cover.

Nice. Funny post. You pretty much posted the worst post to John in history, albiet a joke of course. I think you not only stabbed his soulwith all those points, you pissed on his oatmeal too.

Basically we from what irish is saying, we can expect this from the posts here.

    1. Huge spike in SP(short cover).
    2. Those lent shares will be returned once even a penny of the debt is paid.
    3. Expect NO retraces on the way. NONE.
    4. John needs to make his points clear. We are very confused about where he stands.

Great information here guys. Now, if only I had the cojones to pull the trigger instead of just staring into the headlights. The "play" seems so clear with the benefit of hindsight.
