BG, to my knowledge no decision has been made. The SEC made a decision to take it up when they meet on April 8. The good news is that I guess this time they are "likely" to pass the rule . . . but then this is the SEC so can you really count on them to do something that makes sense?

so im screwed basically on the 3500 shares that i have and would be better to sell them if i can before BK then wait it out
Well GM may not go BK at the end of the day but why risk it? Take those 3500 shares and get 8500 bucks and turn that into 25,000 more SIRI shares if you believe in the company and want to keep adding. If GM survives and you miss out on a rebound I'm sure you'll get a great return anyway on SIRI... or just take the cash and put it in your mattress... but 25k more shares of SIRI would be a good bet

Indeed thats what i have been thinking, problem is......my 101 yr old grandfather gave them to me (he is still alive and reads the wallstreet journal everyday, just doesn't feel like keeping track of the stocks anymore lol).....they are actual stock certificates, so i would have to sign them over and mail them to the brokerage account first i am guessing, who knows how long that takes

Wow,you got to hold on to those, depending on how old they are,the certificates may be more valuable later than the stock will ever be..Just my opinion

I also would keep them at this point. But hey, I'm the girl that held sirius from 6.53 all the way down, adding all along. Kind of my trading philosophy, so I'm probably not the best source for advice!
