sl62.................. sure did. Had 80 mph gusts last nite with kind of a large dry sleet with very little weight to it. Was very happy about that. My yard has about 40 aspen in it, and wet icy snow would have broke lots and lots of branches and flattened and broke my juniper bushes as well. Luckily no leaves as of yet. This COMPOUNDS the problem. Other than blizzard conditions and everything closed/shut down. We got about a 1/2-2 ft here in town. ...killer.

Reagan had a bigger mess from Carter He did not solve it by socializing the country. What was it that Bush did to the economy. I mean are you saying that those tax cuts caused this. Come on, get real. Bush had nothing to do with this down turn, as a matter of fact it was the housing mess that caused it. That was cause by mainly the democrats in congress. That is all on CSPAN tape, while every rebuplican voted to regulate Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, every democrat voted against it. not only did they tell Greenspan he was nuts and that "the sky is not falling, Fanny and Freddy are doing a good job" Barney Franks very words. Bush tried to stop it 3 different times, even Clinton was in an interview gave credit to the republcans and himself for trying to stop it from happening by putting more regulations on.

On top of that his policies kept us from being hit again. Did you ever wonder why while France, England, Spain, ect. were getting hit we were kept safe. Obviously not, your answer must have been; we were just lucky, YEA RIGHT, get real.
There is a reason the market went down everytime Obama went up in the polls and the market went up everytime McCain started to come back (dont believe me go check it out for yourself). The market is looking at the future of the economy. There is a reason they look at the economy with Obama as president and the market gos down.

Just saw we are in politics today. Interesting to see how easy some of you use the expressions "socialist and fascism". I know socialism first hand and my parents/inlaws grew up in the Hitler-Era, believe me it is more horrible than you could ever imagine.
The economy downturn started in 2006 when congress became democratic run. The democrats caused this collapse....period. This is the doing of Barney Frank, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Maxine Waters, that retard Meeks and a slew of other democrats. This is the results of the community reinvestment act where everyone gets a mortgage regardless of income.
