yeah thats what I meant, app giveaway article..

I have checked other sites articles on the app and it brings people out of the wood works, with nearly all being very positive "can't wait" comments

...See charle's polls today...I think alot of people stay away from satellite radio because they can't figure out the hardware....if all it takes is downloading an app many more people are going to stumble into subscriptions....

Tip Lines to Major News Outlets

Ok - I am jumping headfirst into exposing ISEG/NITE. I posted the letters/tips I just sent to three major media outlets regarding the manipulation - over on another thread:

    http://siriusbuzz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1652

So far I hit up ABC News, CNN, and Fox News...

Time to shake things up a notch...

I referred them directly to the Buzz for detailed info on the manipulation... get ready for the hit count to rise (I hope)

Newman/Charles can hate me later for any pain I cause - I just don't like to wait for anyone else to do it. At least now it's done (of course who knows if they will even READ a thing I sent).

There was a lot of competition to get in on that beta. I managed to get in, but not through SiriusBuzz. Sirius on an iPhone takes it up a notch. When they shut down StarPlayr (and the iPhone player), it really sucked. I have resorted to my iPhone playlist again.

I tried Slacker and Pandora a few times more to see if maybe I wasn't giving them a fair shake. They suck. The channel you create starts off with what you want to listen to.....great! Then it gradually devolves into a bunch of crap that is either 1) the wrong genre, 2) groups you have no interest in listening to, or 3) groups or songs that you have already voted against or skipped earlier.

I will download the Sirius app the day it come out. I still have the StarPlayr app on my phone. It hurts to know it is gone. I have tried to log in once or twice, hoping by some miracle it would be working again.

Make sure to gather what you have together and send it to Deepcapture.com as well. They love that stuff and may find some will to help out in the cause.

Brandon: That link has been active for a few months.

Remember in my more recent article about The Top 5 priorities for Sirius XM? I linked to it there. It is nothing more than a starting spot that sends people to either Sirius or XM seperate websites.

They definately need to unify their sites better.

Hot damn PR!! Even it the SEC doesnt want to listen to our calls and emails they may have to if one of these stations picks up the story and runs with it.
I may yield results; it may not. Either way, good on ya.

When this stock trades a lot higher, and their are .10 to .20 cent spreads between the ask and bid, then you see so crazy stuff. In unison, you will see 2-4 MM's move bids in and out so fast, its only way to be done would be by computer programs working together. They are trying to catch market orders at the high and low ends by doing this. They will allow you to buy at 4 if the bid is 3.80 and the ask is 4.00 and sell at 3.80 on the same spread. SO if you market ordered it around the same area, you would be buying for $4, and selling for $3.80. Now do that all day...... Not fair. Using limit orders is the way to beat this system, but some people insist on market orders.

ANd yet nothing is done. They will move the bids too(they will usually be working both sides). In this way, they will use 100 share blocks to move the stock towards a large buy order, or sell order. Watch KB Homes trade, and you will see what I mean. Might be too low now, but some days, im convinced their not one legitmaite purchase of KBHomes shares, its all shorting and covering, shorting and covering, etc... From low share count around 100 shares or up to 1000 share blocks.

    Pandora

I am playing around with Pandora today:

    The good points:

    1) If you put it on a specific genre it is fantastic. For instance, the Blues Genre is terrific. It doesn't matter which one you choose. Electric, Chicago or Texas....etc...

I haven't tried the other genres though.

    2) It is free

    3) Music clarity is prime!

    4) It doesn't suck up all of your band width, so you can still do other things while listening.

    5) It is uninterrupted when surfing the internet.

    6) Each song gives you a history of the artist or band.

    7) You can bookmark the songs that you like.

    Those are a few.

    Bad Point:

When you create a station i.e. "The Jimi Hendrix Station", you will get a Hendrix song once in about every 5 plays, then the other songs in between can be anything that they feel reflect the same types of styles, beat, intonation.....etc..

Overall, the plain genre is great! The stations you create could disappoint you if you just want to listen to the same artist song after song.

Pandora is really pretty cool. They are finding ways to get it out to the people. Phones are all ready using Pandora through Sprint and AT&T.

I haven't checked out Slacker yet, but I will.

Just an honest evaluation. It sure beats a sharp stick in the eye.

Streaming cannot replace live broadcasting though...that is just common sense....but for people that don't listen to talk radio, news and things like that it is just fine. Uninterrupted music is really nice sometimes without a human speaking in between songs, but then at other times talking with a little info about the artist(s) is nice.

SIRI has the upper hand in all of the live departments.

Just to rebuttal in support of XM...

I have the xmp3 and I get the live xm content....plus I can record 5 channels at once accumulating 100 hours of recorded "live" content....plus i can record 10 hours of singles live off of XM (about 200 songs) recorded at one touch of a button while listening.

....it also plays mp3's as well that I can put (estimating) 2000 songs on an 8gb card.

I don't bother with the 8gb mp3 option because if I did the instant I have 2000 songs, they are already old.
