    Newbie Here

Now that the trading day is over I wanted to say hello to everyone here on the board!

I've been a lurker for the past 3 months. Of the boards I've read this is by far the best for good information on SIRI with the least amount of hype. Just wanted to thank you all for the good info for this stock play. I'll be sure to chime in now and again as I believe we're on our way to 0.50 soon.

For full disclosure. I'm holding 38,548 shares at an avg of .2856. 20,000 shares at 0.189 and the rest between .38 -.40.

    R

It seems all the government-aided companies are going up like crazy... C, AIG, FNM, FRE, BAC... should we be jumping on board?

AIG still looks really good at $1.36, if it follows Citigroup's lead it will be over $3 soon...

A little formula i like to use:
Day-Trading Tips – A formula that works with any Stock:
The daily formula to determine the shortest support and resistance you only have to add H+L+C= divided by 3 = the daily average.

Take your stock for instance, you just Add the High Price + The Low Price + The Closing Price and divide by 3 = (The Daily Average Price)

    Example: Your Stock
Your stocks High for the day was… $15.20
Your stocks Low for the day was.… $14.80
Your stocks Closed that day at…… $15.05
    ---------
Added together = $45.05 divided by 3 = $15.02 The Daily Average Price of your stock for tomorrow.

Generally if the last price or closing price is higher than the average price today you will usually see the stock following through going higher the next day providing there is no bad news overnight or in the early morning pre-market open.

Same in reverse just run the numbers on a stock if you are going long and if the closing price is below the daily average I would wait a bit to see.

Note: All you are trying to do is to make an educated estimate to what direction a given stock is moving. The market makers use this formula and most day traders use it all throughout the day to keep a sharp eye on stocks they have.

Note: Some stocks pullback or dip in the morning if your stock does that's in your favor so have three prices figured out on paper so you can make a quick decision.

If you are going to day trade you need to be quick and confident with a plan and know your exit before you enter and visa versa.

my calculation is .3916 with close of .3748...means it might go lower tomorrow.
The formula last 2 days was to go higher..take it for what it is worth.

Disclaimer:I don't ever day trade, and don't proport to know how, just use it for prediction purposes on here. Long Sirius as a heart attack

Thanks Johnny - Seem to recall now something mentioned about this ... might have been my eyes playing tricks on me looking at the sell side.

On the aggregate\non - they seem to ride pretty much in sync ... still just trying to get my brian wrapped around all this - But it was helpful to watch it move during the day ... just one more piece of info in the arsenal.

Now if I can just learn to read charts ...

That's up 6 days in a row........do you feel a lucky 7th up day tomorrow?

Maybe, just maybe, that might be pushing it.....

Killer I wouldn't worry so much. Here's perspective: what you had to put in (about $6000 extra) to get back in is I assume more than many people's entire position (on this board) with this stock. And moreover, it's good to get back in. Sure maybe .29 seems better but .39 up to .8 will be worth it!

Despite being away from the computer most of the day, I was able to buy more today at $.38 bringing my average down from $1.77 to $1.54 (59,755 shares now). . . .I'm doing my best to meet this dog somewhere along its climb out of the gutter (still kicking myself for being greedy when we were at $.13 and failing to execute attempted trades then).

I'm gonna go get caught up on my reading of the posts I missed today. . . . Anyone, have any thoughts on where we are headed (up or down) tomorrow???
