I am thinking more and more that all of the stars may be aligning! There are way too many "Rumours" for something NOT to be happening - LOL - but then I am hoping for amazing things to happen - this stock has dragged so many of us through the mud - time to stoke the 4 x 4's up and ROAR through the muck and crap and "pedal to the metal"! what was it that Maverick said in Top Gun - " I feel the need, the need for speed"!! Hope this stock roars up!!!

Heheheeeeeee...I never knew the founder is a tranny!!

Did you guys see this from Forbes.com>

Sirius Founder Says Company Won't Be Able To Compete
Rory Maher, 03.16.09, 01:00 PM EDT

Few would argue that Sirius is in good shape—the company has massive debt obligations and is struggling with a drop in new subscribers—but its founder is more pessimistic than most about the company’s future.

In a long interview with Fortune magazine, Martine Rothblatt, who started the company in 1990, said she thinks it won’t be able to compete with online services like internet radio once the latter become available in cars and other devices.

Rothblatt told the magazine “there’s going to be ever more bandwidth available to distribute content totally via terrestrial cellular infrastructure. And that will leave fewer and fewer unique market attributes to satellite radio.”

She believes as cellular networks evolve, there will be more room for streaming services like Pandora Radio or AOL Radio, and that people will be able to hear them, too, on car stereos and cellphones.

Rothblatt (she was a male when she founded Sirius; ‘Martin’ underwent a sex change in 1994) believes satellite radio missed the ideal window of opportunity when drawn-out discussions with the FCC over broadcasting licenses caused the service’s launch to be delayed until 2002—she had anticipated the launch happening in the mid-to-late nineties.

Sirius (nasdaq: SIRI - news - people ) chief executive Mel Karmazin, of course, sees the company’s prospects differently. In the same Fortune story, he says that despite the increased competition from internet radio, Sirius will be fine because it introduces listeners to new music that may not be in their iPod libraries and has exclusive content from sources like Howard Stern and CNN. <<

This is all MSM has left in their aresenal!! Pretty pathetic...

Well.... after a couple of weekend days with the grandkids. I found time to look at the State of the Stock. This current rise doesn't surprise me, but I am pleased.

John (888), I symphathize with you on the 1.77 avg....I'm in at 1.79.

SL62 .....The baggage handlers have inspected the luggage and have thrown all shorts overboard. Quick question....Why do they say set sail for Steamers?

    Busy week...Michigan to New York (Grandkids)...Then off to Tennesssee (Bro's 50th B-Day)..

Cos, I have a question for you.

I am of the belief that this market rally is not going to sustain itself(my guess is it will turn around slowly when the S&P makes 800). I also believe there will be a retest of the low and probably dip around 625-650 on the S&P. So If this happens my question is. How do you think it will affect SIRI? I have no idea where SIRI will be as this is happening but use say .59 or so. Will SIRI start trading with the market then? or will it still be immune and trade seperately

I used .59 because i think that is going to be the hardest level to crack. It may still be in the .40 range(I hope not)as the market starts to retrace though. At what level do you think it will be affected by the overall market moves?

    Baba...

I was just thinking about you on the way home tonight...where is bababooie in our time of glory?? And you check in...definitely need the wail of the proud steamer in plain sight. Good. All shorts overboard. Yes. Correct. No lifeboats, just perservers. Let the real sharks nibble at their waterlogged feet!

My only input on set sail is that it's an encompassing term that carried over when Clippers officially gave way to steamers in the later 1800's (and so on to today). All ships set sail no matter if they have them or not...(if I interpreted your question corectly)...

I brought the SIRI Clipper out of port today since the SP set sail. The dog is loving the salt air!

Be careful on those travels...see you when you get back..

John 888's, relmor, cos, sl62..................... we've been fighting this fight .......... along with the Blue Dog , for so long now that............... on this good day I thought you all ought to be reminded of the "good day" on the horizon............. when we will all be made whole. My thinking is..................... that we will meet on that day, and not before............. to celebrate everyone's victory, as true keepers of the Big Blue Dog. I could not celebrate my personal triumph without the entire group's conquest. Without this entire group's encouragement, long hours, dedicated study, and analysis I could never have begun to traverse this maze that we've found ourselves in during this agonizing battle. My comrades.......... you have had the pieces of the map from the start...........and you've been kind enough to let me follow it with you from the beginning. I will be there with you to celebrate............... when you are all there with me. In this long journey........... I have been nothing more ............................. than the keeper of the Big Blue Dog. .. killer and the Dog.
