The problem is... the second anyone says anything bad about satellite radio, no matter how valid the argument, they are instantly discredited as being know-nothing-assholes. This leaves investors with no one to listen to. In 3 years of running this site I am still yet to see any one single investor say "you know what, he has a point" to anyone who has said anything negative about SIRI.

Be careful who you listen to around here.
Charles...there is alot of sunshine here no doubt.....but this is a forum for people who LOVE SIRIUS in general is it not? That said you can led a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. What is it that has got you so down? People need to balance the good against the bad for themselves...nothing is perfect, and anyone who thinks SIRI has no flaws...or never gets or has bad news to report is just fooling themselves.

Who can we trust? In this little world:

Cos, Relmor, Trippin, Homer, and some others. I don't want to offend anyone here by omission.

Of course, Charles, Brandon, Tyler and Newman. Anyone who does this much work for questionable gain (can't imagine tha ad revenue is making you guys rich)

I'd rather have both sides so that I can make a good decision. Others may be hot-headed and emotional but please let it roll off your backs stay the course. This is the clearinghouse for SIRI information and we need you all.

Maybe we should also list those Who we can't trust:

    Cramer, for one
    Weinkes or anyone from GS.
    WSJ
    The Motley Fool

There must be many more but it is late. Goodnight, all.

I say "The Cos" and "Paratrooper Rick" along with "Relmore".. They have our best interests at heart.. Oh are we speaking about the talking heads in the media? Sorry have to get back to you on that one.

I will have to say Howard really pushed me to buy this stock. Over the years Howard talked about how Mel was the only one who would hire him. It seems that Mel takes this stuff personally. Seems like everything Mel touches turns to gold. Except for taking over for Redstone. I knew Mel wanted to throw a big F.U. over that deal. As he watched CBS tumble I knew he would do anything and everything possible to not go BK. People talk bad about Mel but he is infact a radio guy perhaps thats why we should be happy to have him as CEO of SIRI instead of CEO of Viacom or CBS.

P.S. Im glad I waited to the waining days of this stock to jump in. I begged my wife to let us invest when Howard got signed. She wouldn't hear anything of it. (I don't remind her of that either. We are both happy now. She doesnt remember my begging!)

Regarding Charles, he's my tech go-to guy. No one knows more. Homer for financials - the guys a whiz!

Having said that, good old Doug MacIntyre comes to mind as the ultimate basher...

Lets not forget this if the times turn. If any of the above have anything good to say about SIRI please, do not forget that they are not to be trusted!

Johnny just to set the record straight Tyler had "Satellite Standard". Charles had his site. They combined them to come up with Sirius Buzz. Then Newman was a poster that had some articles they liked from the forums and posted on the main page. It was not so long after that they asked Newman to help out and he became a moderator. Brandon then came into the mix some time after (what about 6 months or so ago), first with a article or was it two then on the radio blog.

charles what dont u get? we are all invested in sirius therefore we are all BIASED TOWARDS SIRIUS, yes thats right we will not accept bullshit negative articles that do not highlight any of the good, but we will except a good piece from them just the same. Does that make us bias? yes, cause we are. You are trying to make some kinda of stupid point, we accept the fact that some journalists said the sub growth was abysmal as long as they pointed out the positives along with it, i dont like journalists who ignore the positive and just focus on the negative, that is agenda based reporting. How about this you tell me something positive about siri charles i dont think ive ever heard you say anything positive. Just to get the ball rolling ill say sirius's sub growth for 2008 was terrible. ok now you say something positive plz and we can end this.
