Next I dont know, just common sense with only a 125 to risk on the market, I dont know of any brokerage that lets you open up an account with them with only 135 and gives you free trades along with it.

I wasn't defending the trade. I was defending the right to make the trade without being lambasted by jerks like you.

How do you know he did have $1125 and made a purchase with the other $1000 and said hey I will take the risk on Siri with a measly $125
and if it doubles I will make some scratch. If it doesn't well hell it was only $125 plus commissions(if any).


But what does he get ... a high and mighty jerk that thinks he should put down others for what is beneath him. Great character. Your popa would be proud.

If you(or the original poster) had just noted that with such a small trade that the gain has to be larger. Just to make him aware of that part of it. That would be fine. Who are you to say what is right for others. You stepped over the line and now are defending it. Just dont expect others not to call you what you are!

If you go back and read the first post I made about this subject you will find I was giving clear advise that was correct. Not once in here will you see a swear word. That first came from "airman". You see though, none of you cought that did you. Then you wonder why, I think having common sense just might be special.

My god man he is trying to help you out. Common sense, if that is all you had to invest (125.00) then you should have just stayed out. You cannot afford to be in the market in the first place. Let me guess you paid at least 11.99 for the trade commission. That means you paid almost 10% just in commission. People that are telling you that was ok to do are wrong plan and simple.

I think you are absolutely wrong. What is the difference If a guy has $125 to risk and its 10% of his savings and you have $125k to risk. NOTHING!

welcome to the gang, you ' ve already learned sometimes it can get a bit out of control, but believe you me we are all good people, nothing personal just a little excitement once in a while.
When I read your post , first thing came to mind was the commission and it really doesn't make much sense, but then I have to admit I sometimes buy options for 200 or 300 $ and have to pay the same fee as buying stocks for 10.000 $. But what do I know, I am just a little woman and a mother of four.

Ask anyone you know personally if you were being an jackass. I doubt you care though. You missed the point as I said it is ok to point out what you did ... you just didnt have to do it with the tone you did it in.(Plus you defended the original post that certainly wasn't constructive, That is context in which you came in) If you want to continue the bashing back and forth we can do it in private messages.
