SIRI closes @ .198 on volume of about 52.6 million....

Amazing watching the flood of 100 share blocks streaming through below the bid and ask trying to bring it down during the final minutes of trading.....

Stronger fundamentals towards the end of the year, and a R/S will be what they do to get out of the toilet water that we're trading in right now..... I wouldn't be surprised that if at the Shareholder meeting in May 09, that they look to extend the R/S authorization date into 2010. Meanwhile we need to get into synch with the rythm of the trades and take advantage of the pops and drops..... Take the scraps your given to stay strong to fight another day.....

cos1000, My problem is my luck. I still am holding the shares I got at .07, .11 and .15 because I know as soon as I sell this Fing pig will take off. Besides I am greedy. I wont sell any of the .07 til at least .28. Even then most likely only half. You see I believe most here wont make really alot off this stock even if it gets back to its old PPS or higher because they will have been long sold out by then and a new crop of investers will be in (or many will have missed the big up tic and not been able to get back in fast enough). This will happen (the change out of invester a few times) before we really move back up.

So I remain holding with my half position. Another good day today, gains were made and not lost at close. I think .20 will be broken next week, and I look forward to sharing it with everyone here. As long as Mel doesn't drop some sort of surprise bomb on us, things are looking up!

Those 100 share blocks were mine Demian. Trying to collect on my $2.18 bet. Looks like Cos was closest so I guess I'll forward him a prorated check that covers the balance of the spread.

One form of tape painting — as in painting the old ticker tape — is to drive a stock’s price up (or down) at the close. Traders believe it is common at the end of quarters, since money managers are judged by quarterly performance. Buy 1,000 shares in the final seconds, and maybe you can drive up the reported value of the 200,000 shares you already own, and thus make your performance look better. (works in reverse for short sellers)

Since everyone knows this can happen, some short-sellers sit poised to add to their short positions if any of the shares they are betting against should show a surge in the final minutes.

I had a dream last night that it was Sept 9, 2009 and stock was worth 9.99 per share
Of course it was the first sleep I had since I bought into SIRI a month ago...............
