Sirius XM CC 0800 ET Don't be late!

I'm hoping we get more consolidation at this level for a bump later in the day or tomorrow..... Alot really depends on how the market absorbs the info gleaned from the CC.....

I fall back to some of what I said previously - someone needs to teach MEL how to present things better - he historically isn't great with CC's ...

This was no exception. I got the feel they just wanted to end it, as Ive stated before, they hate communicating with stockholders, and today was no different. Should have harped more on the Iphone and Ipod apps, and gave more specifics about possible DirectTV packaging. If they had done that, I might feel better. Very shakey position. I think my original scenario might have been accurate(pullback). I jumped in on the Iphone app news, and the specific release time frame(never mentioned before by company directly). That should be the highlight of the CC, that and the over 300 million EBITA. Lets hope the media doesnt pound them on no growth guidance(my major concern and why I original sold 1/2 position.)

Personally, I doubt he ever will be better. Just his rough-around-the-edges style. Works when things are looking up but not in these times of course. He's a hammena, hammena, hammena.. kind of speaker (outside of prepared remarks). Prepared is OK. Luckily he barely gets it done! I think he just gets nervous but it sounds like he's trying to hide something. Great news is we know have a guy like Maffei out there in the public eye making great comments about the company. Believe me. 40% of the company to have that kind of thing is well worth it and should pay great dividends for us in the future..

I'm surprised no one asked about Q1...works for me though...I suspect they'll wait until normal 1.5 months to release. So looking at May 11th ish...Hopefully market and economy are showing improvement by then...

Agreed on all counts - should have definitely harped more on the app - plus - EBITDA..... should have carried them through the end on a solid positive note...

Also - agreed on having Maffei onboard... I have a feeling the news will come out mixed based on the CC - this is one of those wait and see deals now... little voice in my head says we will likely be back to .16 EOD...if not just under... hoping I am wrong...

Then again - maybe some of the larger investors will get shaken out of the tree and invest.... that would help us pick up the volume carrying into mid-day... fingers crossed...
