Winfrey, the richest female entertainer in the world with a net worth of $1.3 billion, first signed a three-year, $55 million deal with XM Satellite Radio back in September 2006. It has since been renewed and will include additional programming such as "Better in Bed" with sex therapist Laura Berman - director of The Berman Center in the Loop -- and shows about Winfrey's magazine and book club........
hopefully she will advertise more, i think its great that they are going to be doin book club stuff like actually reading the audio books on the radio. I think this might actually bring people over this time. I hope.

Lost in Space, StarPlayr Retires from Satellite Radio.....................
I frequently watch Oprah's show, and I never see her advertise or push Sirius XM. I do see her pushing the hell out of Skype on every single show... why can't we get the same kind of marketing?
can anyone post how much is due, when, and what kinds of debt. that will become the next thing for the pundits to pundit on to down play the stock. watch for another reduction in short shares when published in about 10 days or so.
this pisses me off, i love using starplayer to listen to my xm stream online, its alot better than the xm stream straight from xm. It will be turned off on the 10th. Im assuming sirius has a problem with the software, well they should of just bought them out. sirius better be working on their own version similar to starplayer or else this is just dumb.
Just placed another buy order for tomorrow. Should be an interesting day...
I know I'll regret this -
I think they will almost HAVE to make an anouncement soon - likely 17 March - on their own app to stream over iphone. They surely can't be that stupid that they'd purposefully miss out on that revenue stream - could they...... (crickets chirping)
