    stories

Hi, People are not going to become millionaires by buying SIRI at .14
They have a good chance at making money but 5000 shares at .14 are not going to let you retire.
More likely people will get angry

to be a millionaire from Siri you need

    200.00 for 5k shares
    100.00 for 10k shares
    50.00 for 20k shares
    25.00 for 40k shares
    10.00 for 100k shares
    5.00 for 200k shares
    1.00 for 1,000,000 shares

plus of course your buy in and commisions.

If your in a hurry you'll see lower returns then people who can wait a while.

Very true, but I'm not here for that "millionaire" ticket. just enough to pay off the car and buy an awesome engagement ring

Let me see $1.00 and I'll show you a happy camper

What is the earliest date there could be a reverse split? Or...i guess the better question is by what date does the sp have to be above $1? If a rs were to happen what benefit would a shareholder get?..I read that article but if someone could summarize to help me further understand it would be greatly appreciated!

The R/S is good till the end of this year, and can be executed at any time between now and then. 50:1 max ratio.

As long as the NASDAQ keeps waiving the delisting requirements due to the fact that over 500 companies or so, listed are under a dollar, there is no need to worry. Unless the BOD does something really stupid, like say a R/S!!

I sadly think they will do an R/S, not to avoid delisting but to bring down the float. The more I think about it, this Malone deal seems to be a pre-packaged deal from before the Dec 18th shareholders meeting...

Agreed!! The best defense is to cost average down as much as possible.

My average is 2.00, and I need more money to get it below a dollar, just don't have the ammo right now. Frustrating to say the least but I will get around it. Yeah, the float is a joke, but so is the market from a macro right now.

Mel said it was for delisting only, and he kept his word on getting a deal done by March first, little late, but all good as far as I am concerned.

My biggest worry right now is the R/S, but I had to vote for it because of dilution, Mel needed the tools to get the job done. So now here were are, diluted and the whole market is just a joke, or one HUGE opportunity!!!

    Quarter bounce

Regarding the r/s....lets look at the timing of events....

We got the refi done, yay.
    We haven't announce q4
We have Q's 1,2 and 3 by december...along the way we have synergies, iphone app., new technologies, and the Co mingling of Directv.

Let us hope that some of these things bring us back up to $1...geez.

Homer: If you think it should be valued at $6BB -- then prior to the Liberty dilution, the stock pps would be $1.57/share ($6BB divided by 3.8BB shares); however now that Liberty gets their 40%, the stock pps would only go up to about $0.95/share ($6BB divided by 6.3BB shares). Because there is more equity now.

At $6BB, instead of $1.57 you get $0.95/share. At $10BB, instead of $2.63 you get $1.58/share.
That would be "fair value" right...but doesn't speculative value possibly push us higher? Just hoping...
