Well, the judge will most likely use a statutory format for capital asset valuation and not the GAAP format. Do you know what is the value of those assets under that format ?.

I don't know what slight of hand allows a parent company to disavow debt owned by its subsidary. Just because you place a disclaimer does not mean the judge will say "OK Mogami I see you placed a disclaimer saying in case of divorce you were not liabal for payment to wife and that her debt was her debt and your saving account was your savings account. I'm sorry ex Mrs Mogami your not getting nothing and besides that you have to pay for the part of the house you lived in and blah blah blah",

If you read further theres likely a "not valid in Delaware, NJ, clause that sinks Sirius like they had no clause to start with.

Happens ALL of the time! here's a few hundred thousand examples....have at it!

Yup... Image is from a 1900's vessel that transported immigrants to the US. This one was the Lapland, on which my Fathers Parents came over.

Interesting analogy, close but not really the same. Yes, Mel is in bed with the shorts, hes been in bed with them since day 1(remember day 1 is SiriusXM day 1). He owes them. He owes his new stockholders a low SP. Nothing in it for Mel to keep the SP high. If he knew from day 1 the Malone deal was coming, why not tank the SP? Makes PERFECT SENSE. BK scare gets the new owner/partner involved, meets his conditions(low SP), and used the stockholders to pay for the merger, and some of the debt. And to entice the new third party investor to come aboard. Of course this only helps anyone buying at these levels, not higher. SP going down was always in Mels plan. Why he did the shotgun barrel financing. You can make a case he was hoodwinkined into the deal and hes innocent, but his actions since would shatter that theory.

Now this sentence makes even less sense. Are you smoking something? Can i get some?
Makes about as much sense as some of your articles. Like your ingenious support for the R/S. Thats funny.

I have been at this PC for about 14 straight hours. I had Joe Clayton for some reason on Liberty's board rather than echostars...then I realized the screw up...

    choirgirl...

Thanks for your comments before. Glad you joined the 'fray' as it were LOL...

First, thanks for being specific to Gene Wilder in that role. For me he and Zero are non parell..I think the other two are OK funny but not the same at all.

Second, SIRI is not a ponzi scheme. You alluded to reading our posts on SA. We covered ad nauseaum if not infinitum, why Mel was not running a scam here. But I guess everyone over here now thinks he is. I do not. He is guilty of things like poor communication and poor timing but I'm not buying this criminal intent angle that has cropped up in full force once again. Every argument needs a counterparty and I'm happy to provide that in this case. With both sides, all are certainly entitled to make up ther own minds of what they themselves believe.

You mentioned the political activity in Germany. Pretty funny. When Messianic figures pop up, the sheeple ears perk up and want to be part of it. Do you have ties to Germany therefore have more insight as to what's going on over there?

    Jeesh,

Relmor probably should have been able to catch your drift and didn't need to use the word "gibberish". On the other hand, looking past the use of the word - he was just asking for some elaboration.

You could have replied with some elebaboration or said "none is necessary" but instead responded with actual gibberish.

I'd say its time to call it an eveing before we regress further.
