    XM

makes no difference. Sirius cannot broadcast to XM subs without XM sats. If XM goes BK does Sirius retain them?
I don't know what slight of hand allows a parent company to disavow debt owned by its subsidary. Just because you place a disclaimer does not mean the judge will say "OK Mogami I see you placed a disclaimer saying in case of divorce you were not liabal for payment to wife and that her debt was her debt and your saving account was your savings account. I'm sorry ex Mrs Mogami your not getting nothing and besides that you have to pay for the part of the house you lived in and blah blah blah",

If you read further theres likely a "not valid in Delaware, NJ, clause that sinks Sirius like they had no clause to start with.

    Like the movie

It just hits me , this reminds me of the movie "The producers" with Gene Wilder in the original. They tried to screw up as bad as possible in order to ruin every shareholder and make the most for themselves.

Just to make sure, I re read cos1000 posts to make sure I didnt miss anything. Sl62 you sound more logical. Mel is good. He can even trick the best investors with his smoke and mirror tricks and games. Its all to help the mm's keep volume low until the deal is done. Thats my take, and im sticking to it. I think Q4 will be actually decent to good. Deal gets done, and May debt taken out. Nothings changed to make me think otherwise.

My guess is that Ergen would have gotten rid of SATRAD for good. Malone has Clayton, who is Satellite radios BIGGEST fan...

Mogami, is there not enough unused sirius bandwidth that could be used to brodcast the xm content -- especially with the interoperability of the newest equipment. Or as stated before, a trrade-in option for former xm customers? Keep in mind I do not know if there is extra bandwidth, but I do remember some post about it in the past few months. Yo

    4th Qtr

Hi, The 4th Qtr has to be bad. It has to be terrible. How else do they defend not asking for vote for Liberty deal? They can't say 4th Qtr COH=400 million

3rd Qtr COH was in excess of 300 million.

What?! Please elaborate. I can ascertain nothing but gibberish from this sentence.

Am glad i can get back to panic mode.
I knew I was getting a little too smug lately,
and frankly, it was beginning to wear on me.
But now that things are falling apart again,
I really feel much better. Thank you.

No, they can have a great quarter, and hide the cash, or have spent it. If they spent it on "necessities" prior to december, they are out of the woods so to speak. Million scenarios for that cash.
