Liberty Media Near Deal

Sirius XM Radio is close to a deal with Liberty Media under which the DirecTV owner will invest in the firm in exchange for a large stake, the Wall Street Journal reported late Monday.

The deal would allow Sirius to escape bankruptcy, which numerous media reports expected to happen Tuesday.

Under the terms of the proposed deal, Liberty would invest hundreds of millions of dollars, and eventually control about half of Sirius.

Wow, that's terrible. That's someone who know's nothing about the situation and is trying to get involved by stealing info from different articles.

This just hit me: Why didn't Leon Black pony up the 175 mil? His Apollo Fund owns 83 million shares and he sits on the board. He also brought Mel out of retirement to head Sirius. He is also a multi billionaire. Why would he not bail out the company? Fishy?

I'm getting ****ing tired of your comments. I own more shares of this company than you can only dream about. It is a legit question that I believe has never been raised.

lol why dont u read the basher's playbook, im not saying anything its just how a basher would go about sewing the seed of doubt in a company, by asking stupid question's that have no way of being answered but make the company appear to be in trouble.

Trippin (or if anyone wants to lend some advice)....Assuming everything play's out as these articels are stating and a deal is worked out with Liberty...I have approx 15k shares @ .11. Would you sell on the initial spike and buy back in when the price settles down a bit? or just let it ride?

I have NO idea what's going to happen tomorrow. Part of me thinks that would be a way to increase my shares quite a bit, but if the stock price goes up and keeps going, I could be screwed.

Any advice?

its a good strategy in theory, problem is if u time something wrong u miss out, strategy only work's if u accurately time the up's and down's of the stock, and if we could do that we would all be billionaire's
