My prediction for today, if it holds will be good. It will be rocky at first with the futures down, but I think we can pull through it. There are chances that we will go to new lows, because of lack of confidence. If the market doesn't at least match yesterdays highs and lows then we could be in a very precarious position for a while. I just don't see the short term advantages with the stimulus plan. I am really disappointed in the way that they wrote it. There is not any logical reason for the market to go down or totally sideways today, but investors don't have confidence.

The problem with all of the news is that they use lagging numbers. They are all from last week or last month. Remember when Bush declared that we had all ready been in a recession for 6 months? When things in the news start to get better it will work the same way in the opposite direction - Heck, we have been out of the recession for 6 months.

AIB will be my target stock to watch this morning.

SIRI is not in my scope until at least the 17th at minimum.

A great percentage of the market's problems could have been solved if Geithner didn't stand up on the stage looking like a 13 year old punk, scared to death of the people. It was a total lack of leadership on his part and didn't instill any confidence in the market. Without leadership the market will just wain and drop. The guy has to show some spine and he didn't.

Am I blaming him?? Yes!! He didn't come out with any specifics and that is what the market wanted.

Any thoughts or questions, please post them.

I appreciate it, however there could be things that I just can't see on the surface. There are wiser people than I. That is the scenario that I am hoping for and predicting, but I don't know. I guess that would be my ideal outcome. I am just tired of all the people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Sometimes it just pays to kick back and not get mixed up with the nervousness. After the 17th we will know what is shaking. Until then....let it blow...I can hang..

    Good morning, sir -

Ya, they are looking prime for buying....if they can just stay down for tomorrow morning, lol.

Ah, I will say it .... check out DRYS and EGLE

ETFC is a long stock, most definitely. I will keep that and just let it do its thing, just like my F stock.

I don't want to buy too long at my age...

I will have to go look at CTIC here in a bit.

Man, there are a lot of good bargains out there today.

This market isn't going to go anywhere for a while... We have two different economies going right now. We have the government economy fighting with the market economy and the government economy is winning.

This is just a sample of what is to come. Actually it is happening right now. We are in it.

I am really disappointed. Now, people wonder why France and the European countries never grow and everybody is on welfare of some type. This should be a big wake-up call for Americans.
