    LA Times - NAACP in favor of the merger?

    So do three other Latino organizations—the Hispanic Federation, the Latino Coalition and the League of United Latin American Citizens. Also voicing support are the National Black Chamber of Commerce and the 2nd Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (as well as the NAACP, although its comments have yet to be posted).

    There are many minority organizations who have stepped up to the plate in favor of the merger. I have my theories as to why, and they are rather simple.
