(1983), Mama's Family (1983-86),The Golden Girls (1985-92), The Golden Palace (1992-93), Bob (1993), Maybe This Time (1995-96), Ladies Man (1999-2001) and Hot In Cleveland (2010-15) and she appeared in 14 movies including Hard Rain, You Again, The Proposal, The Retrievers, The Story Of Us and Dennis The Menace Strikes Again .

Betty White died December 31, 2021. She was 99. On March 27, 2025, she will be honored with a postage stamp.

Dolly co-wrote – and sang harmony on – Bill Phillips' 1966 country hit Put It Off Until Tomorrow, which wound up winning a BMI award for country song of the year. Carl attended the ceremony with Dolly but he was wearing a rented tux and was uncomfortable. After the ceremony, he told her, "Don't ever ask me to go to another one of these damn things because I ain't going." And Carl went to only one of Dolly's concerts. He was reclusive and was very seldom seen in public with her.
