Emperor Trump, who demands blind loyalty and undying respect – but doesn't merit any loyalty or respect – calls the whistleblowers "spies" and "partisan hacks" even though he doesn't know who they are. Emperor Trump wants Adam Schiff and now Nancy Pelosi to be tried for treason. With each passing day, Emperor Trump becomes increasingly angry, hostile, deranged and unstable. Three hundred ninety-three days till election day.

An overwhelming majority of Republican Congressmen continue to show blind loyaty and unshakable devotion to Emperor Trump. Why? Do they think Trump will someday reward them? If so, they're every bit as delusional as he is.

In an open letter to Donald Trump, political columnist and former CNN correspondent Frida Ghitis urges the man who calls himself a "great deal-maker" to negotiate his resignation from the Presidency rather than go through the disgrace of an impeachment and possible removal from office. "The number of Americans supporting your removal from office is climbing fast," she writes. "Many would probably welcome your departure. Isn't this the best moment to bargain?" Oh, we can only hope!

Mark Esper and Russell Vought have until October 15 to provide documents and communications related to Trump's withholding of military aid from Ukraine in order to pressure the country into investigating his political opponent. Will Trump order them to ignore the subpoenas? If he does, he'll just be digging his grave a little deeper.

Democrats have so far issued five subpoenas as part of the impeachment probe.

Sondland donated $1,000,000 to Trump's Inaugural committee by writing several checks under the name of four LLCs which he controlled. Sneaky! Then Trump appointed him as an ambassador even though Sondland had no political experience. In Trumpworld, cronyism is alive and well. Sondland is one of two diplomats whose text messages revealed that Volodymyr Zelensky's invitation to the White House was dependent on Ukraine launching an investigation of Joe Biden. Sondland will testify before Congress tomorrow. Many Democrats feel Sondland, and anyone else involved in Trump's scheme to persuade foreign countries to dig up dirt on Joe Biden, should resign. Trump didn't "drain the swamp" as he promised. He merely created a much larger swamp of his own.

These "White House officials" may disapprove of what Trump says and does but they still remain silent and let him say and do whatever he wants. Emperor Trump has been guilty of "abuse of power' on many occasions – and, by their silence and their fear of political repercussions if they speak out, Congressional Republicans and Trump's aides, associates and cabinet members are complicit.

The State Department today blocked Ambassador Gordon Sondland's scheduled deposition before the Intelligence Committee. The House plans to issue a subpoena. Can you say "obstruction of justice"? I knew you could. Rudy Giuliani said he "can't imagine" anyone from the Trump administration will testify. Can you say "obstruction of justice"? I knew you could. Former President Jimmy Carter told MSNBC today that Trump's "stonewalling" provides more evidence to be used against him. "Tell the truth," he urged Trump. Donald Trump tell the truth? Never gonna happen!

CNN is reporting that Trump is reaching out to outside lawyers for impeachment counsel. One is Trey Gowdy, a former South Carolina Congressman and former federal prosecutor who is a frequent contributor to Fox News, a.k.a. the Trump Cheerleading Channel. Trump is also denouncing the impeachment inquiry as "illegal" and vowing that he won't cooperate. Yeah, he really acts and sounds like an innocent man, doesn't he?

Today's quote: "The day Richard Nixon failed to answer that subpoena is the day he was subject to impeachment because he took away Congress' power over the impeachment process and he became the judge and jury." – House Judiciary Committee member Lindsey Graham, December 1998.

Yes, Lindsey Graham, who is now a Senator from North Carolina and the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, declared that a President can be impeached for ignoring subpoenas and refusing to comply with a Congressional investigation – unless the President is Emperor Trump, who is above the law and who has the help of Senate Republicans to ensure he stays above the law. And if Trump's call to Volodymyr Zelensky was "perfect" as Trump keeps insisting it was, why did so many administration members conspire to hide it from the American people? Cover-ups led to Nixon's downfall. Cover-ups may lead to Trump's downfall as well.

Trump told Energy Secretary Rick Perry and two top State Department officials as early as May to talk to Giuliani about Ukraine, in a clear circumvention of official channels
