    Baucom was a member of Boone Creek (1976-78), Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver (1979-85, 2003-07) and IIIrd Tyme Out (1991-92). In 2015, Baucom formed his own band, the Dukes Of Drive. He also released two solo albums and recorded with Ricky Skaggs, Lou Reid, Charlie Moore, Jerry Douglas, Jim Lauderdale and others.

    Kerr composed the music for Brandy, a 1971 British hit by Scott English. Retitled Mandy, the song became a number-one hit for Barry Manilow in January 1975. Kerr also wrote the music for Somewhere In The Night, Looks Like We Made It, I'll Never Love This Way Again,, Shine On, No Night So Long and dozens of other songs recorded by Manilow, Dionne Warwick, Roy Orbison, Colin Blunstone, Michael Ball, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Frankie Valli, Jennifer Warnes, the Oak Ridge Boys and others.
