Well it figures I did not get my $2.79 close today. I guess tomorrow I will have to dress up in my WWF wrestling costume and just play along with the script. :scared:
Now we find out how this ex-div works and if 5 cents comes out tomorrow and we open in the 2.72-3 area, but I am most curious how it affects the charts and does it mess with technicals and pivots ?

Why do some of you in here think that you can sell sirius tomorrow ( or sooner then the 18) and still get the dividend. It appears to me that SXM says that you must hold the stock on the 18. Am I missing something?

By holding it through today's close, you get a settlement date of 12/18 (3 days w/ weekend), so a sale tomorrow shows a settled sale of 12/19. Tricky stuff, but check with your broker to hear it for yourself.Quote:

The analysts at Barclays PLC (LON:BARC) (NYSE:BCS) expect that the increase in total royalties will sway the board more than the changes in Sirius’ fortune will. Despite the positive outlook on the royalties front, the report sets a price target of $2.25 on Sirius XM Radio Inc.
