I don't see any difference in spending, both parties just suck right now.
Good read Tripp, and we definitely need to bring back manufacturing jobs!!
I personally hope that obama succeeds, heard that interview today on the radio LOL. Like you said, we are all in this together as a country.
Did I hear this right today guys? Only 0.12 of every dollar in the new package is going toward stimulating the economy?
No wonder it was a rough day today.

Good float, 56% institute owned, I don't like where the price is right now because of the 52 low.
Beta is high, I will watch and see if it goes lower. Maybe a buy below .30 depending on how much more bad news comes down the pipe on the over all market.
Interesting pick, how much dept are they holding?

Ya, I do. I have three of them 2 are handmade U.S.A. Hamers. One is a Daytona (strat) and the second one is a Hamer U.S. Custom Standard. It is the same guitar that Rick Neilsen of Cheap trick plays. Kind of looks like a Gibson Explorer, but is 50 times better. I also have a Shecter CS-1 production model made in Korea, but it is a player.
I have 5 amps. Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with 4x10's 100 Watt, Marshall MG100DFX 100 Watt, a Tech 21 Trademark 120 120 watts with 2x12's, a Fender Blues Junior 15 Watts and a VOX 5 watt amp that will run on batteries even.
A ton of pedals, a Boss Gt-6 synthesizer and modeler. I'll take some pics and send them to you.
I play hard rock and blues. Just learning lead on the rock end and not to shabby on lead with blues, but not great.
I love power chords, distortion and volume. I don't like a lot of this more modern rock. My cutoff period was probably with Pearl Jam and Nirvana. There is still a lot of good rock being put out, but I like jammin leads and real guitar skills like Johnny Winter, Mark Farner and people like that.
With blues, I love them all. That is why I got SIRI in the first place is for the Blues Station which they are now starting F**K up playing all this old crap that doesn't even resemble blues.
I like Hair Nation - I like that era.
I love 60's and 70's music, but not that crap you hear on commercial stations. You know like Smoke on the Water and all the hits...just not my type of music.
Now, my wife on the other hand, lol loves good jazz and old soul music and stuff like that. She and I really have a lot in common, eh?
How about you? What kind of axe do you have, etc?? :)
I just looked at the chart, it looks pretty good...take a look at the MACD..looks like it is getting ready for a little drop...but don't know, because the market hopefully should go up tomorrow. Just have to keep an eye on it I guess. It sure didn't get too damaged today.
The rest of the chart looks good and upward.
What is the news on this ANPI?? Where did you find it and what interests you about it?
We should have an up day tomorrow, as bad days always follow the day after the FED does something or announces something.
i dont think ill be changing any positions any time soon, im set for awhile.
I was looking at (F) Ford this evening. I think it is a really great long. Their financials or O.K. and they aren't holding out a tin cup and begging for money. That might be a move for me pretty ricky ticky.
You're all set up now.....I would just hang and watch and maybe pick up some other one, but basically you are in the groove, dude. :)
Scary looking. You could live a life time between trades. Between trades, evolution could progress and you might look down and have six toes. I just got rid of a sleeper this morning. It only has one to two trades an hour. It did spike though, I see what grabbed your attention.
i get all kinds of alerts from ameritrade, it was in my volume above average alert, not too many on there so this one stuck out. just wondering if it still has legs or not, seomthing is obviously going on. This is the only news i could find on it atm from ameritrade.
Angiotech's corporate partner, Boston Scientific, announces Japanese approval for TAXUS(R) Liberte(R) drug-eluting stent system
8:30a ET January 29, 2009 (PR NewsWire)
Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANPI, TSX: ANP), a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company, today announced that its corporate partner, Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX), has received approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) to market its TAXUS(R) Liberte(R) paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system. Boston Scientific plans to launch the product in Japan once reimbursement approval is granted. The TAXUS Liberte was approved by the FDA in October 2008 and was launched in Europe and several other international markets in 2005.
"The TAXUS Liberte stent is the latest advance in drug-eluting stent technology for Japan," said Donald Baim, M.D., Chief Medical and Scientific Officer of Boston Scientific. "Its safety and efficacy have been well demonstrated in multiple clinical studies and years of clinical use."
"We are pleased to see the approval of TAXUS Liberte in Japan as it demonstrates our partner's commitment to expanding its international acceptance," said Dr. William Hunter, President and CEO of Angiotech. "Japanese patients and their families struggling with coronary artery disease should soon be able to benefit from this proven technology."
TAXUS Liberte is the only second-generation drug-eluting stent approved for use in Japan. The TAXUS Liberte stent will replace the TAXUS Express(2)(TM) stent, marketed in Japan since May 2007. Significant design improvements over the first-generation stent include thinner struts and a more uniform stent geometry.
