"Look, the American people are starting to think that I will be a President in name only, okay? They believe Elon Musk will have the real power and authority – so if you Panamanahans, or whatever you call yourselves, won't give the Panama Canal back to the U.S., Elon will simply buy it, okay? And then I can rename it the Trump Canal."

Greenland and the Faroe Islands are autonomous Danish territories. Their citizens are citizens of Denmark. King Donald the First apparently believes he has the power to buy Greenland. Hey, maybe he could buy Greenland and rename it "Trumpland."

Trump suggests U.S. should take ownership and control of Greenland

King Donald the First believes in freedom of speech – but only for himself and his blindly loyal supporters. He has decreed that his Cabinet picks must get approval from the "White House conunsel" before posting anything on X, Facebook, Instagram or other social media sites.

Trump imposes social media ban on Cabinet picks after MAGA civil war over migrant visas

On March 1, 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower – a Republican – issued a proclamation regarding the proper times to fly the American flag at half-staff. After the death of a President or former President, flags at all federal buildings are to be flown at half-staff for 30 days. To honor Jimmy Carter, who died December 29, flags will be flown at half-staff through January 28. Donald Trump, of course, is making this all about himself.

Trump loses It over flags flying at half-staff at his inauguration
"The Democrats are all giddy," the President-elect complained.

Donald Trump incited a deadly riot four years ago today by spreading lies of a "rigged, stolen election" and ordereing his blindly loyal supporters to "march to the Capitol and fight like hell" to prevent Congress from certifying Joe Biden's win in the 2020 Presidential election. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution declares that any state or federal office-holder who has "taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States" and then "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the United States is forbidden to hold public office again. Trump will be sworn in as President – his second term – on January 20. In Trumpworld, nobody cares about the Constitution or the rule of law.

I am shocked – shocked, I tell you! – that Trump wants to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. I would have expected him to rename it the Gulf of Trump.

Trump says Canada will face 'very serious tariffs' – and Gulf of Mexico will be renamed 'Gulf of America'

    From CNN:

"Judge Juan Merchan has sentenced President-elect Donald Trump to unconditional discharge for his conviction last year on 34 charges of business fraud related to hush money payments to Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign. Unconditional discharge means Trump will not be imprisoned, fined or face probation but his conviction still stands, and he will enter office as a convicted felon."

Once again, "Teflon Don" gets off scot-free. King Donald the First is above the law and above the Constitution.
