    General Motors, Ford and Stellantis have lost an estimated $1.6 billion since the UAW strikes began. Shares of GM closed today at 32.58, a drop of 0.13 (0.4%). Shares of Ford closed at 12.43, a gain of 0.23 (1.89%).Shares of Stellantis closed at 19.35, a gain of 0.02 (0.1%).

    Auto workers are expanding their strike to 38 locations in 20 states, targeting Stellantis and GM
    Ford was spared additional strikes because the company has met some of the union’s demands.

    The first Toys Я Us opened in 1957 in Rockville, Maryland. The chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 and a year later began closing its stores. Toys Я Us returned in 2021 with a flagship store at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. There are now more than 400 Toys Я Us stores inside Macy's stores. The chain continues to expand.
