Elon Musk is trying to persuade Twitter investors to buy additional shares in the company. He's asking $54.20 per share, the same price he paid in October to take Twitter private. He must think those investors are really gullible.

Twitter will lose more than 32 million users by 2024 as Elon Musk's takeover causes more hate speech and technical problems, report says

Musk said he would abide by the results of a December 18 poll asking if she should "step down as head of Twitter" – and 57.5% voted yes. Musk insists he has no idea who might succeed him. Even if Twitter gets a new CEO, Musk will still own Twitter and will likely continue to make all the decisions.

The Associated Press, Dec 23 2022 6:29 PM EST

Facebook’s corporate parent has agreed to pay $725 million to settle a lawsuit alleging the world’s largest social media platform allowed millions of its users’ personal information to be fed to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that supported Donald Trump’s victorious Presidential campaign in 2016. Terms of the settlement reached by Meta Platforms, the holding company for Facebook and Instagram, were disclosed in court documents filed today. It will still need to be approved by a judge in a San Francisco federal court hearing set for March.

On a recent All-In podcast, Elon Musk admitted to making mistakes during his first six weeks as owner of Twitter." He defended himself by saying, "Hey, I just got here, man." He added, "Obviously, if I make a bunch of mistakes, then Twitter won't succeed and that will be pretty embarrassing and sad." Here is something that is definitely "embarrassing and sad."
