Retrumplican-controlled state legislatures are doing everything they can to make it much harder for minorities and the elderly to cast a ballot. Some are also trying to make it much easier for Retrumplicans to overturn the results of any elections they object to, i.e., any election won by a Democrat. The "win-at-all-costs" Retrumplicans have no shame. To counter the Retrumplicans' voter restrictions and voter suppression tactics, every Democrat in the United States needs to go to the polls in 2022 and 2024 and cast a ballot.

Here’s what key Republican legislatures are plotting next on state voter restrictions
GOP lawmakers in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are trying to circumvent Democratic vetoes.

In this poll, every Retrumplican proposal for voting restrictions garnered more opposition than support – and every Democratic proposal for voting-rights reform garnered more support than opposition. Whether it comes to voting, marijuana, immigration, abortion rights, gun control, the January 6 Capitol riot or any of several other major issues, Retrumplicans are hopelessly out of touch with the American people. Is it any wonder so many people are leaving the Retrumplican party? A recent Gallup poll shows 49% of US adults identify themselves as Democrats (30%) or Democratic-leaning independents (19%). Only 40% call themselves Republicans (25%) or Republican-leaning independents (15%).

The federal Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency declared the 2020 Presidential election to be "the most secure in American history” – but blindly loyal Trump supporters refuse to believe that. They choose to believe Donald Trump's Big Lie that he won the election but there was "widespread voter fraud" and the victory was "stolen" from him. Thus, we have Retrumplicans conducting phony audits and recounting votes that have already been counted. The audits and recounts will not change a thing. Joe Biden is President. Donald Trump is a loser. L-O-S-E-R. Loser!

Abbott is determined to pass new voting restrictions which will make it much harder for minorities and the elderly to cast a ballot. He will never admit that, though. No, he says he wants to "uphold election integrity" – as if "election integrity" was an issue in 2020. It wasn't. The 2020 election was the most secure election in United States history. Abbott also wants to prohibit schools from issuing mask mandates. After all, if students want to get COVID-19 and possibly die from it, that should be their choice.

Greg Abbott, the King of Texas, is determined to enact restrictions making it much harder for minorities and the elderly to cast a ballot. In July, Democratic legislators fled the state to prevent the passage of voting restrictions. King Greg has called for a second legislative session – and, at his request, the all-Republican Texas Supreme Court has decreed that Democrats who don't show up can be arrested and forcibly brought to the House chamber. Yes, this is really happening in the United States of America.

Democrats want to make voting easier for every American age 18 and older. Republicans want to make voting as difficult as possible, especially for minorities, the elderly and the handicapped. Republicans refuse to even debate the issue of voting rights. They are opposed to voting rights – and that's that.

Retrumplicans are not very good liars. They insist their voting restrictions are to "preserve election integrity." Nobody believes them. Our nation already has "election integrity." The purpose of the restrictions to make it much harder for minorities, the elderly and the handicapped to cast a ballot.

The "win-at-all-costs" Retrumplicans are doing everything they can to make voting much more difficult for minorities, Native Americans, the elderly and the handicapped. I don't want to give them any ideas – but I expect they will eventually propose a Constitutional amendment that takes away the right to vote from minorities and native Americans and anyone else who is not a Retrumplican.

Native American voting rights are under attack in Republican-run states
The current wave of voter suppression bills targets the Native vote that helped elect President Joe Biden and a Democratic Senate majority.

Civil arrest warrants have been issued to compel certain politicians to attend a legislative session. No, this did not happen in the 1930s in Nazi Germany, nor did it happen in the 1950s in Communist Russia. It's happening in 2021 in the United States of America – all because the shameless, "win-at-all-costs" Texas Retrumplicans are determined to pass legislation to make voting much harder for minorities, the elderly and the handicapped.

Retrumplicans in Arizona, a state won by Joe Biden in 2020, have spent months conducting a phony "audit" of votes in Maricopa County. Retrumplicans in Georgia, a state won by Joe Biden in 2020, are now going to conduct a "performance review" of Fulton County election officials. Two-thirds of Retrumplicans continue to insist – with zero evidence – that there was widespread voter fraud in 2020 and Trump won but the election was "stolen" from him. Attention, Retrumplicans: There was no voter fraud. Trump lost. He is a loser. L-O-S-E-R. Loser!
