Forty-three states allow early voting. In Arizona, early in-person voting begins 27 days prior to an election. Arizona Retrumplicans claimed early voting is unconstitutional. It isn't.

A right-wing, anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-immigrant, anti-mask, anti-vaccination Retrumplican Governor has been given the power to draw a new map of his state's districts. He will be certain to diminish the voting power of blacks, the elderly and the handicapped and rig future elections in favor of the Retrumplicans.

Retrumplicans are not only busy passing legislation to make voting much more difficult for blacks, Native Americans, the handicapped and the elderly, they are also busy re-drawing Congressional districts to dilute the voting power of minorities and rig future elections in favor of Retrumplicans. Now they're hoping to be able to ensure that no legal challenges can ever be filed against their gerrymandering. Retrumplicans do not care about democracy. All they care about is Donald Trump and staying in power.

Ron DeSantis has drawn a new ongressional map which will leave Florida with only one majority-black voting district and will rig all future elections in favor of the Retrumplicans. DeSantis is a typical "win-at-all-costs" Retrumplican. He has no shame.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hates Democrats, blacks, gays, transgenders, abortions, critical race theory, COVID vaccinations, mask mandates and the Walt Disney Company – and he loves Donald Trump and the Retrumplican party. He is also doing everything he can to rig future elections in favor of the Retrumplicans.

Ron DeSantis, who is arguably the most Trump-like Retrumplican in our nation, has signed a bill creating a police force to investigate all that election fraud which is non-existent. But, hey, he has to appease Trump and stay in Trump's favor.

Retrumplicans want to rig future elections by having them overseen by Retrumplicans who will have the power to disregard the will of the people and overturn any election won by a Democrat. In Colorado, at least, their efforts have failed. For now.

DeSantis will appeal the judge's decision. Of course he will. How dare a judge interfere with DeSantis' efforts to rig future elections in favor of Retrumplicans!

Florida Judge rules Governor DeSantis’ redistricting plan unconstitutional
The Congressional map makes it harder for Black voters to elect representatives of their choice, the judge said. DeSantis' office said it will appeal.

Arizona residents are required to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote in state elections. This new law, pushed through by a Retrumplican legislature and signed by a Retrumplican Governor, will require proof of citizenship for Arizonans registering to vote in federal elections. In its lawsuit, the Justice Department says this "burden of proof" violates the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.

Retrumplicans continue to do everything they can to rig future elections in favor of Retrumplicans. They do not care that they are destroying our democracy.

Wisconsin Supreme Court prohibits use of most ballot drop boxes
    CNN, Jul 8 2022 1:52 PM ET

The Wisconsin Supreme Court today barred the use of most ballot drop boxes and ruled that no one can return a ballot in person on behalf of another voter -- dealing a blow to Democrats ahead of crucial contests in this perennial battleground state. Voting rights groups and Democrats had argued that restricting ballot drop boxes would make it harder for some residents to vote, especially those with disabilities. Conservative interests in Wisconsin, meanwhile, had maintained that voting practices employed in the state during the 2020 election, such as the widespread use of ballot drop boxes, violated state law and opened the door to potential fraud.
